I walked in and I wasn't causing any problems. I picked up a cigar and a bottle of wine and I head up to the checkout. I paid with a debit card which I put in the machine and he got the receipt before the debit card where I got to put away. So then I tried to put the debit card away and I asked him to put the receipt in the bag and he threatened me treated me like I was a criminal. I absolutely love this gas station/liquor store! I MEAN IT HAS A DRIVE-THRU.........need I say more!! The customer service is always stellar and they will help you with anything without hesitation. Also the prices cabt be beat anywhere... well, at least on the liquor and cigarettes. I come there to get some vape pods and they don't even have to ask what I want. By the time I get to the window, they already have it ready! It's not just one person. I have went out of my way to frequent this location for over 10 years (even before the new construction.) I enjoyed the privilege of paying cash after pumping gas to save a nickle per gallon. The coffee is usually fresh and strong, the scratcher tickets are easy to see, lots of liquor choices, fun novelty junk, and tasty sub sandwiches. Honestly other gas stations are equally priced, without the nickle gimmick getting your cash. Often the line is backed-up and moving slow. Its easy to be a jerk if you cash in your lotto near rush hour. I would easily estimate spending $100 per week at dirt cheap, but never again. Today I had a horribly degrading experience. Im still rattled and upset from it. Im useing this as a therapeutic outlet. When I arrived around 10am I noticed a police officer behaving strange in the parking lot. I proceeded to pump my gas, and go inside to pay. I told the cashier I pumped exactly $25 and would also like to cash in my scratcher tickets and purchase a few more. She happened to be talking into her bluetooth and in the middle of filling out paperwork on an earlier, "gas and go" I gathered that's why the police officer was there. She added up my winnings of $28. I picked out a few more scratchers and then she charged me $9 more dollars. I left in a rush knowing I was already running late for a 10:30 appointment. Shortly after leaving the officer that was at Dirt Cheap was pulling me over. Since my boyfriend is a correction officer, my father a retired police cheif, and my cousin a DEA agent, I understand their job is difficult and dangerous. I put my hands on the steering wheel and answered every question with quick poiteness. I have absolutely no record, my car is legal and up to date, I had lottery tickets I just purchased, and a wallet full of cash. He proceeded to accuse me of stealing gas and would not accept any other answer. He was condescending and berated me to the point of lashing out, but I refrained, becoming overly frustrated barely holding back my tears. I faced the fact that no matter what I said he was not going to believe me. I even explained how long Ive been going to that dirt cheap and surly the employees would recognize that Im a good customer. I asked if we could go back there and talk to the cashier. He then yelled at me for trying to dictate the situation. He was young, immature, arrogant, and mean, featuring an ego and image problem. I sum it up to, "little man" syndrome. Hopefully, with the correct guidance and training he becomes a better judge of character and develops an intelligent vocabulary. Eventually he sends me back to Dirt Cheap to pay another $25. He tails me the whole way. I attempt to talk to the cashier, but of cource there is a long line. I tried to talk about what happened and was harshly ignored. I paid another $25 to the other cashier. I was friendly, optimistic and willing to schrug it all aside. I stated to my earlier cashier, (the one that now has two stolen gas n' goes in one day) that I did not plan to make her day any harder and sorry if I did. She purposely ignored me and probably pocketed my $25. There was no reason for her to ignore me, or accuse me of stealing. I was an excellent long time customer that was treat like low life scum. For now on I will gas up at the more convenient QT and 7/11. read more

These places live up to their name. "Fred From Dirt Cheap" offers up his "Thirty Dime Wine for $2.99" and the smokes here are a few cents cheaper than most other places. The beer here is pretty decent, but for some reason, I don't want to be caught with a can of Dirt Cheap beer in my cozy. Try it out, I guess, since you can find some obscure, and weird packs of smokes, as well as the perfect Zippo lighter to match your personality. read more

The previous reviews are from the old, small Dirt Cheap, that is now closed. They finished building this BRAND NEW Dirt Cheap a few months ago, on the lot next door (same address) and it is awesome. They have a DRIVE THRU. You read that right: A drive thru! You don't need to get out of the car to get your cigs, soda, six-pack, bottle of scotch -- whatever! They have a large 30° walk-in cooler for beer and a huge variety of wine, liquor & beer, local, el cheapo to craft! They have a variety of bar items, flasks etc. Firewood, things like that. Coffee bar and nice selection of snacks and food. At least eight banks of gaspumps for your convenience. It rivals any QwikTrip, easily. They also offer and accept Kickback cards, where you rack up points to spend as cash on future purchases -- One cent for every dollar you spend. I get 5 or 10 bucks back every month. Also, the clerks are always friendly and helpful. I highly reccommend this new Dirt Cheap gas station to anyone! read more
