If you're a person that really likes to dig through items Dirt Cheap is for you, however I'm not much of a digger. I do like a bargain though. Dirt Cheap would not be my normal place to shop, but I like to check out new places where ever I go. This place has a ton of clothes and products which was a little overwhelming for me but still very interesting. I saw several items that came from Target and Ulta that were discounted very reasonably, but again this place requires some searching. I like the fact that you can get some great deals, but this place could definitely be organized a little bit better. read more

Even though I like shopping at Dirt Cheap, I think they have priced themselves out of the discount store business. you go in expecting lower prices but find merchandise - like comforter sets priced at over $400 with only 30 or 40% off - that still makes the set almost $ 300. (Live on a fixed income as a retiree, I have to save where I can) Plus the merchandise is just thrown on shelves. I know that employee retention or lack of employees is a problem, but they could make some effort to do a better job. I will continue to shop at the store in Dothan because I like a good bargain- but you have to be willing to search for them. read more

All I can say is I don't know where the hell they got that manager from . She has the most nasty attitude. U can't ask her nothing. She act like you is angry every time I come in there. The store is so unorganized, so you have too ask for price. She will run a sale and when you get too the register ,she don't want too sale you the item. This the store that should have closed. Not Ozark. She is not manager material. Her boss need too monitor how she talk too people. She is just miserable. read more

This store in Dothan Alabama is one of the worst I have ever been in. The merchandise is just cluttered and in disarray in the shelves. I asked an employee where bathmats were located, she did not even look at me, shook her finger in a direction saying they are over there somewhere. Well after I still could not locate them I asked another employee about them. She responded " can you not see I am busy with this palette? I don't have time to help you." We'll never did find the bath mats. A little later another customer asked the same worker about something and she was just as rude to her. This was my first time in this store and definitely will not be returning to it again. read more

So many great deals!! I travel 2 hours to Dothan just to shop my favorite store. Great Employees!!

I really like this store, and its professional and kind staff. The team works well to keep confusion to a minimum, and is knowledgeable about how to wisely sell stock in a way that is beneficial to the store and to the purchasers. I love Dirt Cheap! They always have awesome discounts! This place isn't for everyone because it's not really organized. You really have to dig, but I think that's the fun to it. The only negative thing I have to say is that the check out line is always long; and some of the stuff has holes or are broken. read more

I worked here for almost half a year. The new management, is awful. They don't care about anything, but money. As a cashier, I had regulars who adored me and some even brought me sonic. It got to the point we weren't allowed to even talk to customers anymore. I really don't recommend shopping or going here. The place is going downhill. They have maybe 3-4 good employees left. For the last couple of good employees, they know who they are and I miss them dearly. They deserve to be treated a lot better than they are. I hope corporate can do something about the new management. I've had a MANAGER, Ask me if I was pregnant and laugh about it because I wasn't feeling well. LOVE LOVE this store!!! Never know what u will find, and there's usually new and different items everytime I go. Just u have to search for the GOOD items for a GOOD deal. And some items are expired or broken, but they let u check that there bf you buy, so that's cool too!! read more

I was there last Saturday, March 13, 2021. I agree it IS a store that isn't the best organized but I am a wanderer so I go with the mindset to explore in order to locate bargains. While there, I stumbled upon a lady who was using the app to find prices on shoes. She said, "the boots are on sale for $1!" Whoa!!! When I say I scoured for as many in my size as I could find, I did! By the time I got to the register I had five NICE pair that were ($5), all in the colors and styles I preferred (black, navy, brown, chocolate suede and leather and gray). I also bought a NICE pair of black walking sneakers ($1), a gorgeous black satin skirt with sheer overlay ($3), One pair of women's tuxedo striped dress black pants $1 and two padlocks ($1.50). With tax, I only spent $15!!! NOTHING looked 'cheap.' The only drawback to this store is because people plunder, sometimes merchandise is placed in discounted sections where that discount is not applicable. However, It's WORTH it! read more
