Dirt Cheap would not be my normal place to shop, but I like to check out new places where ever I go. This place has a ton of clothes and products which was a little overwhelming for me but still very interesting. I saw several items that came from Target and Ulta that were discounted very reasonably, but again this place requires some searching. I like the fact that you can get some great deals, but this place could definitely be organized a little bit better.

(Live on a fixed income as a retiree, I have to save where I can) Plus the merchandise is just thrown on shelves. I know that employee retention or lack of employees is a problem, but they could make some effort to do a better job. I will continue to shop at the store in Dothan because I like a good bargain- but you have to be willing to search for them.

I came in the building wearing a tailored custom build suit pants with Chelsea boots and nice top and casual jacket. My wife brought about 5 or 6 different pants for me to try and none of them fit so i didn't get any of that. As we walked around I notice a lady she just kept following me around and then she finally came over and asked if there's anything she could us with. I said no I'm good thank you and walked away, we walked all the way to the opposite side of the store and she popped again side eyeing us. And so it dawned on me that maybe she thinks, I'm wearing one of the pants I was trying on even tho nothing in the store looks remotely close to kind of pants I had on. It was a merino velvet black pants that was custom built and had a pattern in the shiny material. We walked somewhere else and so there she was again, I said to my wife I probably should go let her know this is not their pants because id hate to be leaving and then accused of stealing for wearing my own pants. And so I went over to her and let her know, I see you following us and looking however this is custom suit pants that I wore in here it's not from here. Ofc she got uncomfortable and smiled it off and said okay and left. But on my part, that didn't feel good and that wasn't a good experience that we had there. We support Dillards almost everywhere we go and there's one, so I had to share that experience because it was uncomfortable and a little embarrassing.
