Gross, dirty store selling outdated food and broken toys. Some of the clothes I saw were torn, or just the tops to pajamas - and they were overpriced. If you like the hunt of finding things A LOT then you might like this, but bring gloves for all the broken things, and hand sanitizer. I enjoy a yard sale or thrift store and left feeling disappointed. I had seen some pictures of the store shelves on Facebook and the actual store looked nothing like it. What was halfway decent was just last seasons Target dollar section leftovers. If I could give this review 0 stars, I would. First of all this building was dirty as hell. Looks like it hasn't been cleaned in 20 years. I felt like I was gonna get fleas from walking around in there. The shelves are filled with junk ripped open and missing pieces. we came 20 minutes before close, we were in the store at 6:46 and the female employee came over the intercom to let us know we had 10 minutes to get our things and come check out. She was rude and not friendly at all, then we were in the shoe section looking and she got on the intercom to say "the shoe section is closed please get out of it." There was no sign no barriers or anything to show it was closed. I won't ever come back here, shut it down if your not gonna clean it or staff it with people who act like they care a little about their job. read more

Dirt Cheap is CRAZY! They are charging $40 for ALL adult clothes regardless what it is and $20 for ALL kids clothes. I was shopping there and I brought up two adult blouses two children's shorts and the lady rang them up at $120. Needless to say I bought nothing and walked out. I truly did not know what to expect from going into a store called Dirt Cheap. It really lived up to its name. Prices are literally dirt cheap. I saw "panties $.50 final sale" and plenty of random items... Halloween items, clothing, house items, toys. There's even a try station where you can open up items and plug it into the outlet to see if that works. That's kinda cool. read more

Dirt cheap prices, but no refunds. They do let you test out their products so that you know if the product works or not. Found some good items while searching through their inventory. I definitely look forward to seeing what i will find each time i visit. Closes pretty early and not open on Sundays. I am rating this shop a 5 because of the bargains and the friendliness of the staff. There is sooo much stuff to dig for, boxes to peek in, shelves to scour - and had I not found the gas fireplace at such a good deal I wouldnt have been as obsessed... but I walked out with chandeliers, outdoor furniture, household items, and i felt like i got a great deal - so I will be back. I really love this dirty place lol I go to look for flooring, tile, door framing periodically love the deals I got with tiles $1.00 a box with 32 flower tiles in each box I bought 10 boxes to use on my cement raised veggie/herb garden. Remember if you see and like something you need to buy it. Merchandise moved fast they don't have stock in the back everything they have is on the floor. They have another part next door that sell housewares but I love the Contrator, home building items part of the store. It's a great place when building to keep budget low. I can go in and spend a couple of hours looking at all the items they have on display so glad my contractor told me about this place back in 2017. read more

Today, July 4th at 2:30pm the cashier had a hacking cough for 10 out of the 15 minutes it took to check out. She kept asking for assistance. Great place to find a bargain in housewares, however there are some clothing items that should be marked down further. You have to have some time when coming here because it's somewhat of a treasure hunt of closeout items. It could use more organization. read more

The past two visits the employees have been extraordinarily rude my first visit I was in line and when I got to the register the guy closed the register and told me to go get in the other line. Choose your purchases carefully. Most of the prices offered start from inflated amounts so the discount looks deeper. The super sales are often excessively damaged goods, so open packages and examine before you buy. Example: Furniture that was broken and unusable (had to throw out). Who cares how cheap it is if it's damaged beyond repair? Bookshelves were falsely priced originally, got them home and 2 of them were badly damaged. How's that shelf broken in two pieces doin' for ya? Yeah, thought so. The bedding and towels were also falsely labeled as "40% off". More like 20%. These are "seconds" so they were never full price. The store on Davis Hwy has made a great improvement on their look. It's very presentable and pleasant to shop I love what the new manager has done with the place. This is specifically for the Dirt Cheap on Davis Hwy. If you don't mind seeing the homeless use deodorant and put it back on the shelf, nasty dirty floors, disorganized madness that is only rivaled by digging hoarders who will kill you for a 75% off pair of rusty nail clippers...this is for you. The location on Fairfield, while smaller, is a true reflection to the quality of management. It is cleaner and better organized. The location on Davis needs to be disinfected. Now, the staff is for the most part, very nice. You may spend hours here only to spend an additional hour in a long line that seems to have the common theme of one cashier at busy times. I have found some great deals, but if you are into atmosphere and not feeling the need to disinfect your body and the stuff you bought before stepping inside your home, you may just like it. All of this aside, shout out to several very nice cashiers and mid-level managers. The store manager has a hard time of hearing and can be cranky, but he is general sweet. He just needs to overhaul that mess. It is truly gross at times. read more

I normally am all for finding a bargain but this place has gone straight down hill. They don't even bother to sort and put stuff on the shelves anymore, they just dump everything in big piles on the ground or on top of of tables or just leaves the giant boxes for you to dig through. But now they have gone to new LOWS. I went in and found a comforter set (comforter, 2 shams, 2 pillows) MINUS the 2 shams and 2 pillows had a price of $59.99 on a tag with "domestics DH". The DH IS 40%. The cashier peels the tag off in front of everyone saying that's not the tags we put on the linen. I said there a whole section with those tags. She said people switch the tags. Which is impossible with the tear shaped middles. She then had another cashier look it up on her phone and said "It's $74.99 at Bed Bath and Beyond" so that's how much we have to charge." I said at Bed Bath and Beyond it has all the pillows and shams, and I believe this is Fraud you changing the price. She said they can charge anything that they see anyone else is charging. We left and went to Bed Bath and Beyond and it was $54.99 there and with the 20% coupon everyone has it was $44. I returned the following day to dirt cheap and went to linen and took over 40 photos of linen with the same tags the original comforter had. I ask a salesperson what's the deal with the different kind of tags? He said the different kind just go in with different discounts. The app reader for qr codes for getting the dirt cheap prices apparently is not accurate. I tried to buy a microwave the qr reader scanner then it said enter amount under qr reader 79. Dollars hit done then it says you pay 16.80 (@) wrong according to the register then spent the next hour getting belittled by management. Poor cashiers admitted thus manager is never on side of customer. Entire experience sucked...but the microwavevis still there.
