He give recommendations and consel on our house structure and yard usage. He ended up trenching our entire basement, added a 2nd sub- pump, a new drain at our door and added an out door drainage in the lawn. I loved that he hires women on his team. The young lady was the one using the jack hammer; I thought that was very bad a$$. Since the work has been completed we have had no further issues with flooding. The crew of 3 worked aprox 5 hours each day and took 2 days to complete. It is hard dirty work and the guys were great. Respectful and pretty quiet. The system has been in for a week and the basement is dry...and getting better daily. A few downsides...the 70 feet of pipe in the ground has a giant mound over it the whole length which I now have to fix. We didn't have basement access from outside so the crew had to pass 1 bucket at a time out a window that unfortunately is right at our main entry. They did the best they could, but the decking and the shingle siding at the window area was trashed. Covered in mud/cement splatters and pretty scraped up despite the cardboard and plastic they laid out. I have some clean up work to do there as well. There is no "kim" copyright special cement...its quick crete... just add water home depot anyone can purchase. I figured about 1200 in labor and 2400 max in materials ( gravel,hoses,pitboss,matting and cement) I paid 9100.00 pretty big profit somewhere. All in all though....it was a flooding situation and the guys worked really hard and the system designed is definitely doing the job.

What is interesting is I also got a quote from a chimney place in Congers (the one that has signs everywhere that they were there too). The quote they gave me was a very similar price to the quote Professional gave me, so I was going to use them. But then I saw that quote was just for the rental of a bucket lift,and he told me he was saving me a lot of money because they should actually build a scaffold. The separate quote for the work was 2 1/2 times higher, and the whole quote 3 1/2 times higher. The masons from Professional had no problem safely using a ladder to get up to the chimney.

I felt the need to write this review, although technically Greg and I have never done business. In…read morethe recent round of rain storms, my sump pump stopped working as it is supposed to, and I ended up with about 5 inches of groundwater in the basement. I was able to get the sump pump working again, but 3 days after it stopped raining, I was still getting a lot of water in the pit. I found a sticker for Contractors Waterfproofing, and figured they might of installed the system for the old owners, so I gave them a call. From the moment he picked up Greg was service oriented and responsive. He asked for my address to look up the job, and when he couldn't find it, he called back within 5 minutes to ask what was going on. I explained the problem, and he immediately told me that was normal for my part of town, and told me I just needed to replace the pump and I would be fine. He offered me a price that was half what his competitors charge, but I told him I would do the work myself since I am capable. He then answered a ton of questions about the install, and we had a great conversation about life and how my son could maximize his potential long-term, as he is currently a plumbers apprentice. The bottom line is that the system Greg installed 20 years ago is still working perfectly, and when the pump failed, he not only gave me a fair price, but then walked me through how to do the job myself. This is unheard of in 2025. Greg will get all my business going forward. Thank you.
