We had a very friendly welcome from all the staff here and they were working hard to keep the place clean (mops kept appearing to eliminate spillages!) but overall I would hesitate to come back for cocktails because my dirty martini was not very good and the espresso martini we think involved some kind of coffee syrup rather than an actual shot of espresso. That said, if you come during happy hour you can get two martinis for £10 so you won't feel too ripped off.
It's definitely not a romantic date place, at least on a Saturday night - come here with a group of friends and you'll find danceable chart music and lots of space to sit together.
Overall I think Be At One does this concept better, in particular its cocktails are better made, but Dirty Martini has more space than the Manchester Be At One branch, and quicker service. read more
