I've used Dirty Work for 3.5 years. They do a wonderful job; they're always on time, my yard is always clean and my pups adore them. They also put a nice note on our front door letting us know they've stopped by. We even got a cute Christmas card from our "scooper" with a picture of him with his pets. I used the service for more than a year, and it was phenomenal. Then, my technician left and it all went to... Well... You know, CRAP. The technician that they had did not send the notifications that they were on their way, and my preference is to have my dogs in the house during service. They did not close my gate and one of my dogs got out. Scary. The new supervisor, Chris, was very quick to answer my initial complaints, and came by to look at the gate. He assured me it would not happen again. Lo and behold, it did. They left my gate open and one of my dogs got out again while I was on a trip. A passerby picked her up and she was missing for more than an hour. Thankfully we were reunited, but my dog sitter was panicked, and in turn panicked me while I was on a flight. I (again) called and texted Chris to report the instance. I got no response and they just quit showing up altogether. When your business is DOGS, I would think the diligence in ensuring yard access is closed would be paramount to anything else. It's clearly a people problem, because Jeremy, my initial tech, was fantastic, and I had zero issues. read more

I don't know what's up with these other reviewers. If the service wasn't acceptable, why did Autumn S use them for a full year? If Steve G used them for 18 years, why would he write a bad review just because they couldn't scoop up after his pig? Maybe he couldn't confirm that's what's up, but it was a fair business decision (imo). He was really rude by namecalling in his review, I would never want to work with or for him... maybe the job was really bad and just not worth it to them. My experience has been great - I think it's been a year that I've been using them. The helpers have always been thorough and have never missed a day. They've never left the gate open. Believe me, if it happened even once I'd have canceled. My little dog would be gone and out into traffic in a heartbeat. Sure there's been a glitch or two, we're all humans, but Cara has responded quickly and professionally. She's been available right away any time I've had a question about my service or billing. I used them for a year. They have left the gate to my back yard open 3x. I have complained and was told it would never happen again after the first time. They did good for a bit but have left it unlatched last two weeks. I do not recommend this company at all. I live next to a major road and my dogs could be run over if they get out. This company clearly does not care about the safety required when dealing with pets. read more

After 18 years and one of their very first customers we have discontinued the service. Truly one of the worse run companies I know. The folks that come to the house are great, the ownership should work for a retailer. We have a service pet pig that after 8 years, dirty work has decided they cannot legally scoop for her any longer. Like any moronic, clueless manager, they blamed it on insurance. Though I cannot find one company that confirms this, nor will they provide the name of the company, they have simply said, find another company. Use them and you are only check to them.
