Robin is an absolute pleasure to deal with and you can reserve spots for your dog through Facebook, text message, email or phone call. This kind of customer service is hard to find nowadays. The prices are unbelievable compared to what you pay at other Atlanta facilities. While they do not offer cameras to watch your dog, they post pictures of the dogs playing outside each day. We have now dropped our dog off for daycare and boarding.. and we were highly pleased with both. We would recommend this place to any pet owner. I walked in and immediately noticed some improvements in the rebrand and lobby design which looked nice, so I asked the person checking me in, and she said "I'm the new owner." without taking time to introduce herself by name or mentioning the changes in policy or how the boarding rate increased from $35 to $45 dollars a day. The vibe definitely seemed different, and it wasn't a great first impression. The business is currently owned and operated by a former customer, and I think that connection is neat because it shows faith in the organization. That's a cool story, and I sure wish I had received notification about that and the new business transition. If you're in charge, transparency in client communication should be just as important as taking great care of animals. My dog lost weight while there, and we were sent home with over 50% of her food supply because she is an anxious dog, but I've never experienced this while boarding her before. I appreciate the time the owner took talking with me over the phone because I called her to discuss my experience after we picked up our dog. The business seems understaffed and current employees undertrained, and those factors really came across in the whole experience. I wish Bark Avenue the best in the future, especially in their efforts to retain longstanding customers.

Took their food and bowls but was told they provided bowls, so they gave me back my personal bowls. Wen I returned to picked them up and brought them home, both dogs started coughing. By the next day, their symptoms had become worse. I took them to the veterinarian, where they were diagnosed with Kennel Cough. I contacted Frogs to Dogs to inform them of the situation and was told someone would get back to me. Unfortunately, I have not received a phone call, text, or email addressing my concerns. I understand that kennel cough can sometimes occur even in vaccinated dogs and in boarding environments, but I am disappointed by the lack of communication and follow-up after reporting what happened. Recently our pet sitter through Critter Sitters retired and we met with our new sitter one time. Everything seemed fine and we were scheduled to go out of town and had confirmed with the new sitter employed by Critter Sitters that everything was in order. Yesterday I asked for clarification about the billing since it seemed substantially higher with the new sitter over what we had paid previously - in response, I have been told that the sitter's schedule has changed and that I should seek care for my animals elsewhere. With little more than a week's notice, this was very unprofessional and disappointing to say the least. I've tried to communicate my experience to the owner of the company but the line has been busy for some time; will update this review if new information becomes available but sadly, I can no longer recommend this business and would seek care for pets elsewhere. Update: the owner responded and while appreciated, I find the way this situation was handled by Critter Sitters very unprofessional. I can include the text conversation for reference as I did not negotiate: I asked a question about a price difference between two different sitters employed by the same company, a difference of over 300 dollars. The only "policy" I see enforced or followed here is poor customer service.

And realized I owe this fantastic person a review. A very long story short, in 2015 I found myself in temporary housing after a move back to Atlanta to start a new job. It was a very difficult situation with two rescue dogs that suffered from anxiety/separation issues. The day prior my daytime pet arrangements had fallen through. I also had work travel imminent. I was in a panic and massively stressed. The same day I called Karen, she showed up to meet me and the two pups. They took to her immediately, even my ultra scared/shy guy who shivered and shook around people. She confidentially handled them, kindly calmed my anxiety over the situation and had it under control. She could double as a therapist!!! The next day while I was at work all went totally fine with their walk. I even received text photos with details of how it went. The pups were happy, I was relieved of stress and life suddenly became simpler. For simplicity sake I've glossed over a very trying and rough time in life. But for Karen and her team it would not have turned out so well. With a world of gratitude and thanks, I HIGHLY recommend.
