I let them know I would look at a "plan" when I returned. I was then notified by American Express that I had been billed $543.41 by Fetch Pets .... not for the two walks I had asked for. I received no notice ... no explanation. They billed me for 20 walks. When I contacted them, they made no attempt to reconcile this. When I returned from travel I began to use the remaining 18 walks. By the end of the month I had used 10 walks. I was then billed again for another $543.41 and another 20 walks and they cancelled the remaining 10 walks from the first billing. I reached out to Shawn multiple times to reconcile this. I was ignored. I finally got resolution by filing a dispute with American Express against these charges. Beware!

My pets are somewhat adjusted to walkers and caregivers, but its never an easy transition. Not only did Distinctive Petsitting keep it friendly throughout the entire process, they kept it very professional. As an offsite caterer, I know how important those initial questions are when setting up expectations with a new client. They nailed them all. as you have read here a few times already, they keep it flexible... I was scheduled to travel the day the lights went out at Delta and after a day at the airport, they completely understood, and added not one single fee for cancellation of the remaining visits. A convenience fee would have been completely fair, so I tipped the walker for the waste of time... The company sends a representative from the office to sit with you and your pets before the event to be sure everybody understands everything. For someone who has interviewed a few walkers in my day, and i don't want to have to feel like I need to put every valuable away while trusting my home and pets to a new stranger, and while the neighbor who has a teen may be ideal, Distinctive Petsitting will completely allow you to check this off the list and let you get on to whatever has you leaving town...
