I had water damage in 3 rooms (bedroom, guest restroom and washroom) consisting of drywall damage,…read moreinsulation damage, base board damage and pergo/laminate floor damage. I contacted Sefik after contacting 2 other contractors. I had found Krajina Construction through the Better Business Bureau website and had a good rating and all necessary licenses up to date. Sefik came the same day for a review of the work and emailed me the quote that night. After reviewing his quote and comparing to another quote from another contractor I decided to hire Sefik. NOTE: This work was completed at least 1 month ago. I was quite satisfied on the day the work was completed (6 days of work total) but wanted to wait this long to give myself time to evaluate all the work done and do a "burn test" of the work. Sefik's work consisted of: - removing the damaged baseboards, drywall and insulation - replacing the damaged drywall and baseboards - taping all edges (90 degree corners and all other angles and curves) - matching the texture as closely as possible of the existing wall to the new drywall - painting of the new wall / baseboards During the removal of drywall Sefik also noticed a few improvements that needed to be made while the drywall was down in the wash room. Some of the plumbing he had noticed (and I confirmed) was not working correctly. Some of the shut off valves were frozen and needed upgrading to existing code and better parts. Again I knew of the frozen valves at least 2-3 years ago but was not in need to change them. Sefik did notice the valves and recommended the changes happen with the drywall down because any work done later on by another person would require ripping out a section of the new drywall he was putting up and repairing again. For this piece Sefik did the following: - cut and removed the defective hot / cold water valves for the washer - installed a new up-to-date box to hold the valves - installed the new valves and tested Other notes: - Cleanliness was great. Sefik lay down paper on all floor he would be working around to keep any dirt, dust, nails, texture and paint mess to a minimum - He swept each day all areas of the house that he was in - He was on time every day showing up at 8AM (as we confirmed each day) and/or within +-10 min of the hour - The work was completed 1 day over due to the extra work needed that was not found during the initial inspection. This was noted and approved by me in advance but mentioned here as sometimes the work reviewed at the time does not reveal all the damage once the work begins. - Overall quality of the work was awesome and I have kept his card on file for other work to be done in the house over the next couple of years (redo of kitchen (oven, stove, countertop etc) Give Sefik a call and at the very minimum get a quote and see what he can do for you. - taping the edges

I had to have them bring a special machine over for the weekend! It was miserable as I was very sensitive to the dust! They did not cover or pack. Just carried everything out to my garage. My pictures were put where they could find an empty spot. Everything was piled up! They fired their General Manager . The owner had no idea what was going on at my house.They kept changing the charges and who was going to the restoration. They harassed me , wanting more money and making mistakes .They made it my fault so they could get more money from me . Once they started with the subcontractors! My bedrooms were painted the wrong color. They didn't paint the molding, when they did I bought the paint. They painted my baseboards gray. I don't have gray in those rooms, I couldn't deal with anymore people in and out of house so it was left gray! They painted the one bedr the wrong colors twice.They wanted to charge me $700 . Thanks to Liberty Mutual and their adjuster . I was able to stay in a hotel for 3 weeks . Everything in the house was covered with dust! I did so much cleaning and packing . They treated my belongings like trash. There is so much! I'm 82 yrs old. I've never been treated with such disrespect. I asked them not to call me at one point until Monday as my bro in law had passed . They continued to call. They knew how to push my buttons . I was totally stressed all the time. They were finally proven wrong ! They left me a mess. They told me if I signed the completion paper, they could pay their sub contractors. They promised me that if I saw something wrong they would fix it! Instead they threatened me they would sue me and ruin my credit! They finally finished in June. (8 1/2 months ) I pray no one has to go through what I did. Just be careful ! Do not trust anyone's word!

It's the reason why I'm almost 60 and I'm only on my second toaster. I have lived in my home since 1990. During that time, I have dealt with several different roofing companies because I live in a high wind area that results in one side of my home occasionally losing shingles during big wind storms. As my roof got older, every roofing company that came out, gave me a hard sell sales pitch about the need to replace my roof immediately. Based simply on the age of my roof, I knew the time was coming, so I began doing my research. The next time I lost a couple of shingles, I called MountainView roofing because they were one of the companies I was considering hiring for my roof replacement. Adam, who I later learned, was one of the owners of the business, came out. He was very knowledgeable. Unlike the other roofers, he did not give me a sales pitch. I asked him what he thought about the condition of my roof. He told me I had a couple of years life left on it. Adam left a few extra shingles in my garage for the next time some blew off. About a year later, a few did, and Adam came out to replace them. He wouldn't charge me for the work, stating that he lived nearby, and it was just a couple of shingles. It was then that I asked Adam for an estimate on my roof replacement. I also asked him some questions about his crew. I work in a field where a lot of my clients over the years have struggled with substance abuse issues. While I have a lot of compassion for anyone, dealing with that, I did not want someone who wasn't 100% sober, or not performing at their best for ANY reason, working on my roof. It's simply too expensive a project to risk haphazard quality work. I shared my concerns with Adam, who gave me reassurance that he works with a small, tight crew, that he knows well, none of who even drink or smoke. He also said that he himself would be there to oversee the work. Adam spent time educating me about roof replacement options, as well as the process. He recommended a higher quality architectural shingle, and said because I was in a high wind area, he would do 7 nails per shingle. I later learned 4 roofing nails per shingle is the norm, but if you live in a high wind area, 6 nails is recommended. He also intended to hand hammer in the nails, not use a nail gun. The day, Adam and his crew came out to put on my new roof, I work from home because I had heard horror stories about how noisy it could be, and was concerned about how my cats would handle it. Adam and his crew made putting on my new roof as positive experience as it could possibly be. They were on time, polite and respectful of me and the neighbors, and did an excellent job of cleaning up afterwards. Adam even did a couple of extras, no charge. He noticed there were a couple areas on my roof where leaves tend to build up. He put some kind of metal in the corner of those eaves to help leaves slide down once they hit that part of the roof. I'm not sure what they're called, but they weren't on the original estimate, and I was not charged for them. I was beyond impressed by the quality of work in customer service. I received from Adam, and MountainView Roofing. I would hire his company again without hesitation. I only wish every service provider was as exemplary. Highly Recommended!!!

Our location was known when Phoenix took the job. If Phoenix doesn't want to take jobs outside their comfort zone, then they need to let customers know that they don't service that area.
