They responded to our shop having flooded over the weekend from our hot water heater. They were fast and eager to help us out!

A neighbor recommended we call Done Right Flood and Fire Services after a car traveling over 100 miles an hour crashed through our garage at four in the morning this past summer, totally demolishing the front of the garage, compromising the adjacent roof structure, and causing extensive damage to the vehicles and other contents that were stored there. Justin, the Production Manager for Done Right, and other members of his crew responded to our call before the sun came up. Working until past midnight that same day, they managed to get the structure reinforced and enclosed and made sure it was both safe and secure. Shortly after their initial response, Andrew, Done Right's owner, and Justin met with us to come up with a plan for moving forward with repairs. Much to our relief, we learned that in addition to being able to take on the responsibility of serving as the general contractor for this process, their company also had extensive experience dealing directly with insurance companies in similar situations, which greatly simplified this part of the process for us. Done Right's connections and positive working relationships with other contractors and tradesmen also proved to be invaluable. Getting the engineers, carpenters, roofers, electricians, drywallers, painters, masons , and others involved and committed to this project during their busiest time of the year was no small feat, and their ability to successfully coordinate all the work that was done despite the challenges posed by supply chain issues and the many other demands on their time was also impressive. My husband was out of town when the washer drain came out and flooded the upstairs while I was getting my children ready for school. The water spread so fast it started raining through the light fixtures downstairs along with the smoke alarms going off. I called my husband in a panic not knowing what to do! When getting our flooring replaced, it was discovered that a drainage pipe had been knicked by a previous owner's installation of a new wall, leading to several years worth of leaking into the subfloor where active mold was growing. I purchased a house in February noticed a floor had a slant to it and yes it was inspected. I found out that the floor beams under the house had damage and no vapor barrier, we called multiple people and found no one to help us. My Honey said that were should call a restoration place because our house had fire damage from 13 years ago we found out when we googled our house. it was a long shot we called Done right and they came out and inspected the beams and was willing to do the proper repairs to the house they sent detailed emails with the quote. we ended up fixing 3 beams and the vapour barrier they cleaned out under the house. courteous, knowledgeable and friendly i was so happy to get it fixed. RUN!!! Andrew will take advantage of your situation. He will feed off the fact that you are desperate and panicked. My experience with Andrew was unprofessional to say the least. He started work before he even supplied a contract!!! Please make sure you have any pricing in writing before you let work begin. He started the work then gave us a 4 x marked up (literally his price was four times more than the guy hired to do the job). He also didn't email the contract until the day after he started work. He was fired that same day, once we saw how rediculous his contract was!!! However he billed $2400 for the one day of work done before giving a price.!!!! His price was $11,700.00 When the other bids were only $2800-$3600 to do the whole job!!!! So glad we decided to get other bids. Both competing bids came back under $3,600.00. When I called to discuss this with him he was angry and yelled at me. He then said if we didn't pay the bill he was placing a lien on the property!! Real nice guy He then said "go back to ca"!!!! I will post the text where he said this if I can. So obviously if your from out of state this isn't the business to deal with!! Update Response to your response It is true that we have not met in person. But you are very much aware of who I am. Your professional??? Is it professional to see someone's area code and tell them they are not welcome here and to go back to CA???? Sounds like your trying to say we didn't speak on the phone for over 30 mins! Do you deny telling me to go back to CA? Do you deny starting work before having a signed contract? Do you deny that your bid for the drywall was $11,700.00? When the contractor currently doing the work has a signed contract to do the work for $2,800.00? What does not cal have to do with what you did to braan and Jordyn's Duplex?? I called you to ask that you kindly remove your threat of placing a mechanics Lein on the property, and inform you that without a SIGNED contract, you Actually don't have the legal capacity to even file the lein!!! This is when you told me to go back to CA!!! And the most ironic thing about that comment is that not only are most of your clients from Ca, but you YOURSELF JUST MOVED HERE FROM CA, less than 18 months ago from what I was told by your prev clients!!! So what you really need to ask yourselves folks, is, Do you want to work with someone who would place a lein on your home w out supplying you with a contract, after being fired for not following the rules of the state of Idaho! I think it's easy to see that this guy does not have the integrity he boasts about below, but vengeance and cares about getting that payment more than making sure your happy. Bc I assure you, my friend and prev clients of done right, are definitely not happy!!!! And are at this time in litigation with done rights attorney and have just filed a complaint with the Idaho contractor license board. So please if this isn't proof enough for you. Check this guys license number and you will see the outcome for yourself So again go ahead Andrew, please, deny any of the actual issues at hand I've listed above and I'd be more than happy to post your unsigned contract and the contract for $2800 matching the scope of work, or the text you sent telling me to go back to CA! And one more thing, There is a difference between "not being the cheapest", and taking advantage of someone that jist had their entire home flooded. A quality job can definitely be done for less than quadruple the industry standard price, so I strongly disagree with your theory. Mostly bc it's just not true. You don't care one bit about your customer, that's why I had to get involved. You told her your were placing a lein on her home!!! Done Right Flood and Fire Services did an outstanding job rescuing our bathroom from mold and disrepair due to a slow leak that occurred while we were away. Not only did Andrew stop by THE DAY we called, but he came by several times throughout the week to check on the progress of the moisture removal and set up the rest of the services needed for the bathroom remodel and clean up right away. I keep hearing that there are no contractors to be found and that work is taking "forever" these days, but we did not find that to be the case with Andrew and his crew at all. Done Right's contractors were super dependable, friendly and considerate, and did a perfect job. Having to juggle life and contractors and kids and busy schedules is not easy, but Done Right made it easy on our family.
