They have just about every disc you could want here.

Much like traditional golf, disc golf is very much about feel. The feel of the your feet on the ground before you throw. The feel of the disc in your hand. Everyone who plays regularly has their own set of weird little rituals, trying their damndest to attain that perfect balance of rote muscle memory and mental toughness -- which is a very fragile state of being, making the game challenging yet rewarding. And very, very fun. Ah, I love this sport and Disc Store is Omaha's only pro shop for all things disc. This means, well, ultimate and disc golf. This is the place I come when I need to spend some time finding that perfect new disc to add to my bag, an experience you can't replicate by ordering online. Luckily, Disc Store has a huge selection of plastics from all the main brands -- Innova, Disc Craft, Gateway, Latitude 64, Dynamic Discs, et al. The customer service is fantastic. On my most recent visit, I must've examined two dozen putters, most of them suggestions from the clerk, who was friendly and super helpful and didn't mind me taking my sweet time. Prices are good as well. They recently outgrew their original location in southwest Omaha, opting for a more spacious spot that's centrally located. Five stars well deserved.

Great variety and helpful employees. But the hours make it almost useless for anyone who has a job.

2 Stars - Scheels is great overall, but not for hockey…read more Scheels is a great store for a lot of sporting goods, but if you're looking for hockey equipment, I would honestly recommend going somewhere else. My son recently started getting into hockey, and we went there hoping to get some help with skates and gear. Unfortunately, it was clear pretty quickly that the hockey department just doesn't have staff with much hockey knowledge. Whether it was skates, sticks, or general equipment questions, there really wasn't anyone who seemed confident or experienced enough to help. The most frustrating experience was when we purchased skates and were told they had been sharpened by the Scheels staff. After my son had a very negative experience on the ice, we took the skates to a rink, and the staff there confirmed the blades had not actually been sharpened. That kind of thing makes a big difference, especially when someone is just starting the sport. If you're serious about hockey equipment, save yourself the frustration and go somewhere that specializes in it. Prices are very competitive elsewhere, and the staff actually care and know what they're doing. Pure Hockey on 72nd is absolutely worth the trip. Scheels does a lot of things well, but hockey just doesn't seem to be one of them.

What an incredible group of people…read more Eathan was patient and thoughtful, double checking that parts were in order. Maureen, the manager, was super awesome in making sure I got everything I needed. And Parker surprised me with a sweet t-shirt and water bottle included in my parts grab. It's so hard to find kind people when the world is going completely crazy. Imagine how we're all used to getting whatever we need instantly- but then the supply chain goes dry and you can't find parts at all. It puts a tremendous amount of pressure on everyone. Bike shops are all dealing with irritated customers who don't understand why things aren't in stock or why people can't always answer the phones. With everyone wanting a bicycle during lockdown and no parts being available, imagine the madness shops have to deal with in trying to stay open and satisfy customers while there are parts shortages. Somehow this team keeps their smile on, is helpful, and super awesome to deal with. AND they had what I needed in stock. A miracle. Elkhorn is lucky to have them. I can't wait to get more goodies from Bike Masters. And the t-shirt is super soft and a perfect fit! Thanks everyone!

When Specialized explicitly told them it was a malfunction with the bike, the shop still blamed it on 'how I rode it' and did nothing to make it right. Unfortunately, they seem more interested in being right than doing the correct thing for their customers. I wouldn't recommend buying here if you expect reliable service and warranty support.
