First of all the Southcentre location tends to be quieter if you like a more relaxed experience or want to ensure you get a chance to speak to an associate (although I've never really had this issue at Chinook either). Weekends can still get a touch busier at times, but it's still not the larger crowd Chinook usually draws. The second thing I like about this location is the store itself is noticeably bigger, more open and more spread out. This makes for a much better shopping experience. Lastly they do tend to stock a big more inventory at this location as well, I assume this is naturally because of the larger sized real estate. It's for all these reasons that I give this store a slight edge over the Chinook Centre location. Now just to reiterate my previous review; EB Games is a pretty cool store for anyone with a bit of a nerdy side, because it's not just a video game store anymore. Much like HMV had to evolve their model EB Games did as well, now they have some pretty cool branded toys or "pop culture collectibles". They stock Pop! Collectibles by Funko which are big and highly collectible these days and even have figures that are exclusively sold at EB Games. They have a range of other toys as well, exclusive board games, t-shirts, books, other non-gaming electronics and more. For me this is the big draw to EB Games these days, the unique fun little items you don't find elsewhere. I have a nerdy side and I like to show it with stuff like this lol :). The store itself is well kept and organized, the sections are easily identified and not overly cluttered to the point where it would be annoying to sift through things or browse. The employees here are friendly and always quick to ask if you need a help locating anything. Overall fun store that's more than just video gaming, check it out! Cheers!

I am living in downtown and I had to make a second trip back to get back the right game. Well no hassle on getting that corrected other than the special trip. Well only reason why I come here is because they have more game selections and its guarantee to be in stock. Other places would be a hit and miss or limited selections. I only get the new games because its mostly for my sister. So for new games its almost higher chance in stock. Nothing wrong with used games but not great for gifts and you don't usually save much from the new one.

Not only did Albert come back early from his lunch when he saw us heading towards the door, he also took the time to try all the cases he had till he found one that fit and to top it all off, even in a pandemic, he actually let us have the case for free!!!! You don't come here to get a lot of money, you just come to get a few bucks from something that would just sit idle in a drawer somewhere.
