If I didn't know better I think she was high or something. She works in the pharmacy yet has no idea about anything. Common cold medicines. I said I wanted Mucinex with decongestant and pseudoephedrine. She's like we don't have that we only have pseudoephedrine. The pharmacist who looks overworked and burned out, I was able to yell to her. You don't have congestion and pseudoephedrine together back there? She said you mean Mucinex D yes I said. Of course they have it. Pearl had no idea what she was looking for what she was giving me nothing. I got the Mucinex. I wanted the 600 mg and 60 mg but I was never asked what I wanted they just hand it to you and act like that's all they have. The Customer Service is basically you're an irritation. Why are you here is the feeling I got. The one bonus this place has going for it is it is a 24 hour pharmacy

But the workers are nice about it. So it's fine. First floor you can order food and then eat it outside or in the patio area. Hot dogs are good. You can also get ice cream and sides like onion rings. All prices are pretty average for a cafe. The other part of the first floor are savory snacks and soups, jerky, dips, pretzels, popcorn, crackers, jelly's, teas and such. You can try it all. Prices are about mediocre. Not cheap but not outrageous. Upstairs are all the cheeses, dressing, sausages, jarred condiments. Again you can get a taste of most anything. Cheeses are from all over the world and all types spicy, sharp, dill, bacon, champagne, almost anything you can think of. Prices are more expensive than Giant Eagle, Trader Joe's, Aldi's and most stores. But the combination of cheese flavors are pretty unique. Something you can't just get at those other stores. And think of it as a treat. You're not going to buy that cheese every week. So a treat is nice. Overall it is a fun experience for the whole family. We didn't go to the chocolate Sweeties side. But I am sure that is amazing too. You can eat at the cafe, buy some snacks, treats and cheese. It's fun and you don't do this every day. At least that's how I look at it. $50 dollars later. LOL! I did buy some treats as gifts too. So that is another option to consider.

Unlike other gas stations where you have to endlessly circle to find your way to the highway, this one is easy hop off and on. Gas: The gas is pretty cheap at this location. All pumps are functional. Merchandise: The merchandise at this gas station is well organized. You can quickly browse for chips or drinks finding everything in one place. You can always find a lot of souvenirs. If you suddenly need a positive potato or Labubu while on the road, stop in! They even have Beauty and the Beast like roses. I always check out the inventory! It's a fun stop along the mundane road! Service: Service is usually friendly and you even get greeted upon entry. That's very rare for a gas station. My only criticism of this gas station is the fact that is so very outdated. It could use major modernization which would make it a lot more inviting.

The Shelby Thrift Store was a stop after we just had a fantastic meal & drinks at The Vault Wine Bar. We walked into the Thrift store expecting it to be what it was. There was the cutest cat chilling on a piece of furniture for sale. The layout of the store did not have any flow. It's packed full of what sadly looked to be junk. The clothes were definitely aged, as was most of he items for sale, even worst. The prices did not reflect the quality of the merchandise. The store employees was very nice and sweet and I felt bad she was working there, but a jobs a job. This is a Thrift Store. It's filled with items people Didn't want. I've been thrifting for 35+ years and this shop has lots of stuff but most was overpriced junk. Sounds mean but truth. Items were faded, furniture in poor shape, clothing not nice, broken things etc... and I actually like shabby stuff! That said, it's not a chain so maybe they have to price things higher to make it. However, never know what you'll find so always a good idea to check a thrift store out regardless. They had some vintage things I liked but prices on them for condition of those items were more than I would pay. Woman who checked me out couldn't make any price adjustment, so left with only a $3 purchase when willing to spend more. Probably visit again but won't be a regular customer.
