Gosh, I don't know if I'm qualified to review, but I have such fond memories of The Parsley Pot! We moved out of state way back in 1983, but my mom, sister and I used to visit your store when we lived in Ohio. My mom purchased a wooden heart made out of old barn wood. I still remember the way the store smelled - like orange spice tea! My sister was recently in the area and drove by on the way to a family get together. She had to call me when she saw the sign. No trip to Ashland, OH is complete without a stop in the Parsley Pot! This is quite the country gift store. There are two floors crammed full of neat gifts and an outdoor greenhouse space open in nicer weather with plants and garden items. They have everything to include catnip toys that drive my older cats absolutely wild. Candles, lamps, gifts, soaps, seasonings, mixes, plants, towels - you name it, they have it! The associates working in the store have always been super nice and helpful. Even though the space is full, it does not seem cluttered and is fun and easy to browse through. If you have an occasion to stop in Ashland, do stop in and check them out! If you like these types of stores, leave yourself ample time as you will be visiting (browsing) for quite some time. read more

Found this gem about 8 years ago by chance, it is now a must stop on my way through central Ohio. I always find great gifts and gems for the house. The owners are delightful and only add to the charm of this great shop! Be careful you don't drive by as it's sign is a bit small! read more
