Found this company on Google Shopping and was looking for a 10 lb bag of whey protein powder. I found them to be among the cheapest anywhere on the internet, even with Amazon and eBay as a competitor--but I now realize why. They don't fulfill any orders and when you email them to ask for a status update on your order, it gets cancelled. About 2 weeks go by and they still haven't refunded my money. For those that don't know, they also go by the name, Vitaglo.com, and upon visiting their website, they used a pretty dated-looking platform to sell their products. I didn't really care what platform they used as their e-commerce platform as long as they come through and send me what I ordered in a timely manner but they didn't. Website itself says most orders ship within 7-10 business days from date of order and 'supposedly' most orders get processed within 24-48 hours so by my math, by the 2nd day, there should already be a tracking number being provided but none ever popped up, either via email or via their embedded link that takes you to the order confirmation page that also serves as the page that will provide you the tracking number. By the third day, I emailed them asking for a status update and by the time I realized that they never responded back a whole week had already come and gone, and I come to find out that they cancelled the order. But they still have a pending charge on my credit card statements that won't go away until they clear it on their end. I emailed them already asking them to refund and/or release that hold on my money and no response. Total radio silence. It is now that 2nd week after emailing them and my credit card statement still reflects a 'pending charge'. Credit card issuer can't do anything since it's not a posted charge and the merchant is totally unresponsive. This is basically a stuck credit card. This company is shady is hell. AVOID AT ALL COSTS, unless you like having your money stolen. Report them to the BBB or their state's licensing. They should be banned from ever doing business anywhere. Totally unethical. read more

This company used to be good. I'm not sure if it changed ownership or what happened. On my last order, they waited three weeks to send out my product. When I got it, it was wrong. Every time I called to ask questions about it. The man who answered the phone was very abrupt and always put me on hold. When I sent the product back because it was wrong they wouldn't reimburse me for shipping to send it out or to return it. So I was out the $53. He also hung up on me on our last conversation when I asked how we could fix the shipping problem. I don't think I've ever dealt with a company this unprofessional. Called the "customer service" number and asked for order status. I was asked for my zip code. When I went to explain the reason for my call, the person barked "stop talking". I told him to "be nice" and he hung up the phone. I called back and asked why he barked at me and he told me he hates it when people keep talking when he is looking up orders. I've ordered from this outfit on and off for 10+ years. It is owned by a guy named Mike and sometimes he'll hire a female helper, who answers the phone. 50% of the time my orders were fine, but the other 50% were problematic. Some of Vitaglo's products are almost 40% lower than competition, so It keeps many of us coming back despite the lack of service. I would order several of the same item to stock up. Mike knows people order from him because of his prices, so he doesn't give a crap about anyone - he is making money, we are saving money, that is all that matters. It is all about the money. Unless something is really old or something is seriously wrong, I generally do not need to make a return or need any customer service; but if something does go wrong, you are stuck with the problem and Vitaglo won't help. Orders take up to a MONTH to arrive, backordered items may or may not arrive, but your credit card will be charged. If it goes beyond a month, Mike most likely forgot about your order. It is up to you to keep track of it and get a refund. Refunds - know ahead of time that you will not get one from Vitaglo. Mike will agree to it, but you won't get it. You have to go through PAYPAL OR YOUR BANK and dispute the charge to get any money back. A lot of times the items ordered are not in stock - these items generally do not ship. Only once have I had a backordered shipped to me weeks later. I'm sure I've lost money on many orders, where the missing items were never shipped or refunded and it was too late to dispute the charge. I emailed a link to Mike asking if this item was in stock, he was too lazy to click on the link in his own site and emailed me back, "what is it." That was it. This business is basically a one-man show, where customers come last - there will always be new customers attracted to the prices offered by Vitaglo and owner does not care about repeat business. This way, he does not have to hire more help or deal with the nitpicky details of each and every order/customer. I've stopped ordering from Vitaglo for a couple of years and I don't miss it. Every once in awhile, I'll do a search for a product and Vitaglo will come up with the best price, but upon remembering the headache of having to deal with Mike, it's easy to decide to pay a few bucks more buying somewhere else. read more

I ordered 4 bottles of Zinc 50mg a week or so ago. I had to follow up with them to get tracking info. When the package arrived, there was only 1 bottle! So I called and the man was very short with me and said he was expecting more in (but offered no date). When I ordered online it showed that the 4 bottles were in stock! So I wrote back and asked for a refund. No reply. So the next day I called and again the man was very short with me and said he'd issue a refund. Days have gone by and no refund, so I started a Paypal dispute. My experience was exactly like all the other 1 star reviews: Mike doesn't know how to manage inventory and sold me something that he didn't have in stock. I called to check on the order and Mike starts freaking out like a petulant child so I started laughing at him - act like a child and you will be treated like a child. I then told Mike to cancel my order, that I wouldn't be doing business with him since he can't behave like an adult. He decides to send me the product anyway. I call the bank, have them issue me a new card (so he couldn't try to charge me again) and canceled the charge from this adult child. I then called UPS and told them to turn the package around, that I refuse to accept it. If you have any morals or principles, don't do business with someone who treats other so poorly just because he saves you money. I work for a company that used to rely on VitaGlo aka Discount Natural Foods to supply us with e-cloth mops, deep cleaning heads, and dusting heads. I never really understood why this kind of company sold cleaning products, but I didn't really question it since we were getting such a good deal and they were reliable for the 2 years that I placed orders with them. My boss had been happy with them from before that, so we weren't worried until we had issues with no communication or followup starting in August 2016. On August 12th, I placed an order for 2 mops, 10 deep cleaning heads, and 10 dust heads. We received an email that the order had been received and that we could expect the items to arrive within 10 business days. As far as I recall, we always got our shipments on time before this order was placed. But when we found ourselves in need of these mops and without any mops, I checked and saw it was already late August and we hadn't gotten our notice of shipment via email, which was unusual. I emailed Michael Schwartz at sales@vitaglo.com, which is the email listed on the website, on August 31st and informed him that we hadn't received our order and asked him to advise. I didn't hear back, so I tried emailing vitaglo@yahoo.com, which is the email from which the order confirmation came and received no response from there either. After being unable to reach the company via email, I tried calling and got the run around. A man who didn't seem at all interested in providing customer service answered the phone and put me on hold. He asked for the zip code and then asked if I was someone else. I identified myself and the company and provided another name that the order might be under. He put me on hold again and then said he'd call me back. That didn't happen, so I called again on another day. He said the items should ship out soon without providing any sincere apology or explanation. Mid-September came and we were still without our order. I called again and it was more of the same. I called and he said he'd look into it and call me back. I never got a call, so I called again and was told the order would ship soon. I said I'd heard that before and that it was now over a month since we'd ordered and even longer since we'd been promised the items. He kinda-sorta apologized and said the mops would ship out that week. We finally received them but didn't get either types of heads. Still, I trusted them, since this had been the first time we'd had issues, and put in another order for 4 mops on October 3rd. I realized the mop heads hadn't come, so I called on October 6th and the same guy who seems to always answer the phones took some information and said he'd call me back soon. October 7th came and went with no call and there was no followup on October 10th, so I called on October 11th to cancel both the new order of 4 mops and the old order of the 10 deep cleaning heads and the 10 dust heads, which were then 2 months late. He pulled up the information and said something to the effect of "They never came in. We'll refund your money." I thanked him and he hung up. We didn't get a refund from that order directly. We ended up having to file a dispute through PayPal and did eventually end up getting a refund on the mops and a shipment of all but 1 of the mop heads (it was even indicated that 1 was missing on the paperwork that accompanied it) and it's been 2 months since then, so I think we'll never see it or a refund. It's really amazing how poorly this business is being run. While I will say that their prices are reasonable, they aren't super cheap, and there should be no reason that a company cannot inform a customer that there is an issue with their order. And there's no excuse to then basically ignore a customer when they point out problems. I could understand if they aren't getting their inventory from someone and it's holding up the process, but then you need to be proactive and contact your customers. Unfortunately, you aren't extended that courtesy with them, so we'll be taking our business elsewhere. read more

I was appalled by my recent customer service experience with Vitaglo, the website associated with this business name. One of the products in my order (coconut oil) had what appeared to be mold in the jar -- small green sediment at the bottom of the jar. Upon inspection, I noted that the product expires in one month (June 2011). When I called, I was told to send it back if I didn't want it. I asked if he meant postage due. He said no -- they don't pay for return shipping. He must have pulled another jar from stock and said he could see what I meant but was sure it was fine and I had like two months to use it anyway. He wasn't very polite (put me on hold twice without asking if he could put me on hold, which is pretty standard) nor service oriented, so I asked to speak to a manager. When I called to ask questions about the Caninedopholis for my dog (probiotic that is consumed/eaten), the man who answered was agitated and rude. His response to my questions was "I'm not a vet, so you'll need to ask your vet to get the answers you're looking for". You'd think he'd have some knowledge of the products he's selling. When the product arrived 9 days later, the ice packs were not only melted, but they were hot. I immediately sent a reply email from my confirmation email, explaining the situation; and followed up with a phone call this morning. The same rude man answered. When giving him my order #, he rudely/abruptly interrupted me and asked for my zip code, which brought up my order because he said my name. He then stated: "Yeah, I read your email and your vet is wrong. The product gets shipped to us and is unrefrigerated for a day or 2. There's no way the ice packs can keep the product cold until it gets to you. Being unrefrigerated for a day or 2 is OK". I stated that I understand it not being refrigerated for a day or 2 but not being refrigerated for a few days while he received it from another company; and then an additional 9 days until I received it from his company, is way more than a day or 2. What really upset me is this man (stated he's the manager and owner so there's no complaining about anything) admitted he knows nothing about the product when I called to ask questions before I placed my order. He acts as if he can't be bothered with inquiries of any kind. Then, when I tried to call him out on shipping me a product that wasn't kept cold during shipping, suddenly he knows all about the product. IF I COULD GIVE NO STARS, I WOULD, as this man not only has bad business practices, he ripped me off and that's not OK. I take comfort in "Karma", "What goes around, comes around" and the idea that he will get what's coming to him for ripping so many people off. I live in California. I have been an internet customer for the past 2 years and feel like now it's time to write a review for Vitaglo. The main reason I ordered from Vitaglo is that they have the best price compare to other online retailer. I'm into organic rawmeal and amazing grass which Vitaglo sell them cheaper than others. I've ordered from them a countless time for the past 2 years and HAVE NO ISSUE with the delivery service. The items arrived on time with no issues. Anyhow, there's a huge recall for Rawmeal recently which prompted me to contact Mike (the owner I guess) via email for the recall issue. Mike replied in the email that he would sent out the replacement to me as soon as new batch arrived. His reply was also short and he did not give me any confirmation. I was so skeptical because of all the bad reviews on Yelp, however, I waited for about a month and got a new batch of products last week with no charge. I ordered four bags of icon meals popcorn and didn't read the reviews until after I placed my order- then I instantly regretted ordering from this site. I got my order rather quickly and when I opened it, I noticed that they subbed one of my bags of popcorn for another random bag of popcorn. They must have run out of the one flavor so instead of contacting me and asking me what I would like to do, they just took it upon themselves to sub in another random bag and keep my money.
