I've been so pleased with my brake job there that I had them change my oil, and even though that's a simple job, some places can mess that up. But Farrar did a great job. So now I'm leaving for new horizons, retiring out of state. I have to drive miles to my retirement home. I brought my car in to have the belts, fluid levels and tires, etc checked for the trip. They were so sweet when I messed up and spaced out my appointment! They got me in the next day & didn't even charge me! When I showed up at 7:05am, the service manager (whatever his name is, he wears those green magnetic glasses), told me that he couldn't get it done until later in the day. There was no one there in line to have their vehicle worked on, and mine was a 15 minute job at BEST. So I told him that I wanted them mounted on the front, but there was some miscommunication, because they wound up on the rear. When I got back home, I looked at the wheels, and they had rolled steel where they tightened the lug nuts, scratches, and dings down to bare metal. I of course took it back and alerted them of my concerns. I was not asking for my money back, and I was even planning on bringing in more wheels to have balanced, but then this same service manager from earlier tells me that I'm getting a refund and to "not come back here again." As you can guess, I was surprised. I have never been told that by a business who depends on their customers returning! So the service manager and I went back and forth for a minute about how that my BRAND NEW wheels were messed up, and that he claims that it's not their fault. He also told me that in all his years there, he had never seen me before (I have been a customer there since I started driving), and that what I paid for the wheels was absolutely ridiculous ($55/wheel). As I was leaving, I stated that after some consideration, it was a good thing that they gave me my money back, so that I didn't have to ask for it. To which the service manager replied: "is that a threat?" I laughed and said "no, not at all, just happy that I didn't waste my money on useless service." They have absolutely no care or thought for urgency, quality, or customer service. I am blown away that this "hometown business" has survived as long as they have with customer service like this.

My wife brought her Mazda 3 in for service today to our local mechanic here in Connecticut…read more Come to find out that the key for the locking lug nuts on her tires had been stripped, our mechanic had a heck of a time getting those tires off so he could do a brake job. This was all because Express Oil Change in Fayetteville, Tennessee had damaged the key for the locking lug nut putting them back on with their air gun back on 1/10/15. No way they didn't realize what they had done, all 4 tires were off during the rotation. They also knew we were moving 1000 miles away, so we couldn't come back to complain once we found out the locking lug nut had been damaged months later when we needed to remove the tires again (we had told them we were heading back to Connecticut during our service on 1/10/15). You guys at Express Oil Change in Fayetteville have ZERO integrity. If you had said you damaged the locking lug nut key, I would've been understanding, stuff does happen. I don't live in Fayetteville anymore, but any customers of this place should be very wary of getting your vehicle serviced here.
