Great pricing and service. Got an extra price break on one set of Michelins because I did both my SUV and RV. The manager got the RV tires overnight, had a fantastic technician do the work, including installing the rear tire extended valve stems I provided, gave me instructions on registering the tires and filing for the factory rebate. Have been a long time customer..today was the worst.needed 4 tites for a vehicle we put on 5k max Miles per year..we have Michelins on it now and plenty of thread but dry rotting so we picked a basic tire over phone and went in today for our appt.as soon as we arrived salesperson Jeffrey V. Told us how bad the tires we wanted to purchase were not once but 3 times..paid for them and took my check out back and still told us how bad these tires were..why would u sell bad tires..very unprofessional service..I heard him do this sales pitch to three different people..when we purchased Michelins for our last vehicle no problems..I got my check back and left..will not be back read more

I arrived with a mounted slow leak tire off the car. Neither had been purchased from Discount Tire. Todd wrote up the work order, assured me the newly refinished wheel would not be damaged and I registered for a text alert when the work was done (effective and simple system!). On arrival JR loaded the tire into our car and I received a 'no charge' bill from Todd. "No Charge?" I asked, Todd said no. We rebuilt the leaking TPS and valve assembly and you're good to go. While there I witnessed that these men and this shop are very professional, exceedingly polite to every customer and know the tire business very well. RIP OFF! I went there to buy 4 new Michelin tires. I told Luis I wanted the same size, make and model that I currently had on my truck. I told him NO road hazard/tire replacement insurance. He added the hazard warranty any way and hid the final bill from me. Told me it wasn't added and had me sign the electronic credit card reader. Didn't give me the final bill till the end and folded it up in a envelope to hide the details. When I got home and found out he added it without my permission I called back to have it taken off and the company refused. Also - slow service. I was told 1 to 1/2 hours to complete the installation. My truck was still outside at 1 1/2 hours. Took about 2 1/4 hours and grease was on the steering wheel. Rip off artists!! Everyone is very friendly and helpful. They don't try to upsale you. They work within your budget to get you the best tires for the least amount. They fix flats or air leaks for free EVEN if you didn't buy your tires here. They are fast and professional always smiling!!!! I bought a set of tires from this location about a year ago. Initially was satisfied with their service. Just recently I bought another car, and had purchased another car and I bought one new tire for it. I called today to ask about rotating my tires, the owner's wife took my call. She said "I cant take my guys time to to do work for free." I asked the lady, who much is the cost to rotate them, she goes on and on about working her guys for free. I WILL NEVER EVER DO BUSINESS WITH THESE PEOPLE EVER, EVER AGAIN. I WILL TELL EVERYONE I KNOW TO NEVER DO BUSINESS THERE AGAIN, AS THEY ARE VERY RUDE AND UNPROFESSIONAL. read more

I have for many years gone to this tire store to buy tires and they have never failed me. Recently moved to the Ocala area, I noticed one of my tires losing air, so I looked for tire repair shops. I was happy to find a Discount Tire in Ocala, so I went in and they immediately greeted me. Took care of my tire, repaired it, changed the air sensor all for free! The tires came with the car, so I had not bought these tires there, but it didn't matter. Great service! read more

If I could give a zero I would . Had went the day prior due to low tire indicator came on. I was told there was a screw in the tire and I would have to make an appointment to get it fixed do to this pandemic. I made appointment for the following day. I arrived at appointment time and was told he could not pull me up by the names I had given him. This was his first mistake. He then ask for my phone number and proceeded to tell me that I needed to arrive 15 minutes prior to my appointment time if not it is taken out of the system. I let him know I was not told this the night before and ask if this was going to be a problem, he said no problem we will get you in no waiting ..... an hour and 15 minutes later I am given my keys !! The manager says have a nice day !! I stated "I will now" and he says excuse me. I strongly advised manager that the young man at the counter had lied to me not once but twice. First he said I would not have to wait that they would get me right in. Second he said that he would show me what was in my tire. Manager said he would show me but after being there that long already I was just ready to leave. I stand by what I told the manager that that person needs to be in the back washing tires not at the front desk with customers. I realize all the manager could do was apologize and agree with me to some extent. Please do something with this person. He doesn't deserve to be part of your team up front. I am sure there our other tire stores that will honor my warranty and I will look into this for future use. Do not go to the Ocala Discount Store. The worst in customer service. read more

These guys are wonderful. As I was driving my husband to the emergency room (ended up he was having a heart attack!) the tires started making a horrible noise. After we'd limped to the hospital and he was stabilized I went to Discount Tire. Of course I was completely stressed and couldn't think straight but they in a very caring way took care of me. And to top it off, they sold me 2 tires for the price of one! Can't say enough good things about them. read more

We have been customers of Discount Tire locations throughout the country for about 15 years, but I think after our most recent experience at the location in Ocala, we likely will never use them again. We checked in our vehicle for some new tires. The staff were very nice and helpful, so we had no worries. We went to get some coffee while the tires were being put on and received a call half an hour later that a technician had crashed our car while pulling it into the bay. It's important to note the car was only parked about 15-20 feet away. The claim is that the vehicle wouldn't stop because he had the emergency break on while driving (a no no in itself) but we were never able to replicate the issue, so we question this story. Tore the front corner of the car open and dented another car. The company was quick to hook us up with their fleet response to arrange a repair, but they did not comp the tires. We don't believe in yelling and screaming at people, so we tried to remain very nice with the management and staff. The manager called later and the sense we got in the end was that because we didn't throw a fit, the matter was closed. Sorry guys, but that's not how you do customer service-- you want to keep customers who try to remain polite. This happened around the holidays so it took almost a month and a half to get the car repaired. They did ultimately cover it and a rental car, which we greatly appreciate, but the combination of the wreck happening in the first place, the shady cover-up story, the lack of any concessions regarding the tires we purchased, and the issues with fleet response dragging their feet all have led us to decide to never use Discount Tire again, especially the Ocala location. Just don't want the same thing to happen to someone else. We appreciate the staff who were polite, but unfortunately, it's just not enough to bring us back. read more
