We arrived within 5 minutes and they took us right in as the tire was deflating. They were very busy, but have two dedicated people for such issues, or so it appeared. Incredibly friendly staff that was very outgoing. We were on our way back to our planned day within minutes. Came by today for a rear brake and rotor job on my ford edge. I had all the parts new just needed them to be installed. Asked at the bay for a quote and the guy told me $250. I said really that's your quote? I said be careful because I was just at the Sumter Tire south and they game me a quote also. He asked what they quoted and I said $187.50 and he said fine I will do it for $187.50 if you shut your mouth. I told him no you obviously are trying to get over on me and I will be leaving a bad review and I drove off. read more

Dropped by this morning with a slow tire leak in my Tesla model Y. They pulled me immediately into the facility and we're plugging the tire within minutes. Only charged me $20. I was amazed at how friendly and nice everyone in the store was. I even talked to the owner for a few minutes. I believe his name is Larry. I've done business with Sumter Tire & Auto 3 times, and each time I visit I am greeted immediately, nearly before my car comes to a full stop. Then I am immediately directed to pull in for service. No wait at all. They are friendly and no nonsense. The establishment seems to have a dozen middle aged men each working their trades. True mechanics no blue hair and nose rings. Fast and efficient. Stopped in today with a slow leaky tire and got an oil change also, home within an hour. The national shop I stopped at first told me that they couldn't plug any tire 5 years old. I asked is that a corporate policy? Yep. Ok they lose. Sumter got the work and $$. I told the gentleman running the show, and he said "isn't that the way it's supposed to be?" Nice to know honest people still exist! I was told after oil change at a chain location that my brakes and shocks were bad and needed new tires. I went to Sumter Tire in Wildwood at 810 N Main. Cannot give higher praise. Had a flat in my right rear tire and I called this morning on a Saturday! The kind lady said come over and they would take a look. I arrived and within 5 minutes a guy removed my tire to the garage. In less than 15 min I was called to the office, was informed there was indeed a nail, they patched it up and I am good to go. $28!! They sold me the wrong size tires, i drove on them for about a year while I kept going back to them because the tires would not stay balanced. Not one person noticed I had the wrong size tires. A woman at another tire store told me I had the wrong size tires. I went back to Sumter tire to to see they would make it right. They were horrible to me. They made me buy the new tires telling me they are giving me the tires at cost. Then I find out the new tires they sold me was the regular price. They are not trust worthy and they are arrogant because they are one of the few places in Wildwood. Beware! read more

COME HERE BEFORE YOU GO ANYWHERE ELSE!!! THIS PLACE IS FANTASTIC DENNIS IS AWESOME AND HE IS FROM NEW JERSEY WHICH MAKES HIM EVEN MORE AWESOME!!!!! My wife and I have a 2016 Hyundai Tucson Sport. About 8 months ago we had a check engine light come on. Took it to Jenkins Hyundai. Told us it was the turbo Wastegate relay. $1100. Left the shop got home check engine light came back on. Called Jenkins Hyundai. Took car back to shop. Charged me another diagnostic charge for the same code. Now they said the Wastegate had to be replaced. $2200 later for a total of $3300 plus a new $1500 water pump it needed. Several days and a total of $4800 later the check engine light came back on. Took it back to the shop at Jenkins Hyundai and was told the turbocharger needed to be replaced. Another $4687. I was beside myself. The service advisor told me that they have to replace parts first to see if it fixes the issue. The mechanic said try changing the oil every 3000 miles to see if it helps. We did this for several months and the light would go on and off by itself. Finally the light stayed on. Our neighbor said take to Sumter Tire they are honest and friendly and don't need to rip people off to stay in business. We took it there and one of the service guys came out in less than 5 minutes and said it needs a turbocharger. I told him the Jenkins Hyundai story and he said they had to know the first time that the turbocharger was bad. Well Jenkins Hyundai is redoing their building so we paid over $8,000 towards their new building. The mechanic Dennis and Sumter Tire and the girls in the office are fantastic. Love this place and will never buy a car from a Jenkins owned business or take it there for service. read more
