Can't give negative stars or I would. Called to get pricing to mount and balance 19.5 class a motorhome tires and was quoted $25 per tire only to call day I was going to go in and be told $50 per tire. When I questioned why I was quoted 25 I was told I didn't disclose (which I did I clearly stated 35 foot class a motorhome with 19.5" tires). Manager at location argued and continued to basically put blame on me. Then when I advise they fire the guy that told me 25 he falsely said no one told me 25. Do yourselves a favor do NOT use discount tire and wheel. Rude employees, false quotes and also blame customers instead of owning up to their mistakes. If they are doing this with me I can only imagine how they treat others read more

We keep our boat stored at Murray and we needed trailer tires. I was referred here by my friend who owns a stereo custom shop. Lynn the manager was very courteous, professional and had the trailer tires in stock at an affordable price. We came down Saturday and was able to get new trailer tires immediately. The driveway goes around the building for anyone pulling a trailer, makes it convenient. Highly recommend this tire shop. read more

MAYBE ok to fix a flat tire, but don't use them for anything more difficult. They took 4.5 hours to install new shocks on my car. Then they charged me for their incompetence! $255 in LABOR ONLY -- plus the shocks!! Flipping rip off. I try to patronize locally owned shops, but I'll never go back to this one! read more

Rental Car company local office sent us here to replace tire. Dropped off damaged tire and manager Sean promised they would call me as soon as new tire ready b/c they knew I had to be at hospital for work. They did not call. I called hours later and they said it's ready, if you come we will put on right away. All they had to do was swap spare for the new tire. Went right over, met by surly manager Sean. Again told them I was on emergency call for hospital, he said they'd do it right away. I sat there 1 1/2 hours. Asked why the delay, Sean said they were changing oil at rental company request. Called rental company who said that was NOT authorized. 5 minutes later technician handed me key and said "It's ready to go." No explanations. Terrible service, passive aggressive and seemingly dishonest business. read more

I called in with a fleet vehicle on a Friday just after lunch in attempt to purchase 4 tires that would need to be ordered. I asked them to seek approval with the management company and call me. They said they would call be back Friday evening and order the tires to be installed on Saturday. I got no call Friday or Saturday. I called on Monday and went over the same spill and now they tell me that cant do fleet vehicles. They could have told me that on Friday so I could make arrangements with a different company. Poor service and terrible follow up. I wont use them again. read more

If I could give ZERO stars, I would. This place put a lift on my 4Runner, and when we arrived to pick it up, the guys were scrambling to find a bolt. Well, the 4Runner had a popping in the front end after that. I took it to a different shop, and found out Discount Wheel & Tire put Loc-Tite on it instead!!!! SERIOUS safety issue!!!! Discount wheel & tire had to install a front Hub assembly on my (4x4) to align my front end, about two months later the hub assembly went bad because of faulty part, they repaired it under warranty! Thanks Guys! read more

I was traveling from Ada to Dallas and my tire sensors kept indicating low pressure. I stopped in because I was concerned about having a blowout or a leak. These guys checked the sensors, checked the tires, aired me up and had me on my way in 15 minutes, no charge. Great service and nice guys. Well worth the stop. read more

We were traveling from Minnesota to San Antonio, and we had a flat tire going to dinner in Ardmore. No one in town had the right size tire for our car, but the guys at Discount Tire helped us out. They found a tire that would work on the car and within an hour the next morning we were back on the road again. Husband and I were driving from Dallas to OKC when we got a flat tire on the highway. Walmart was no help with selling a new tire for the Infiniti but Matt looked at the car and knew exactly what we needed to buy. They opened at 8 am on Saturday. It's now 8:16 and the old tire is going back in the trunk now. Super fast. Super helpful. Very surprised to find this service in Ardmore. read more

Put a gash in the sidewall of my tire while taking the Ardmore offramp from I-35. It was 6AM and after doing a little research on the Internet, drove the mile or so to Discount Wheel and Tire and waited for them to open at 8. My car has an unusual tire size, but these guys went above and beyond trying to find a used tire in their inventory to save me money, trying 3 different options. In the end I wound up having to buy a new tire in a slightly different size and they got me back on the road by 10. Nice people.. Thanks! read more

Took our truck to Discount Wheel and Tire to have the break pads changed. We sat up ther for 4 hours, because they convinced us something was broke and they need to get the part to fix it. When it was finally fixed they told us the truck was running outside, and we were good to go. We get out there and the truck is dead. So, they give us a jump, and we head to Galveston thinking the battery just died due to the doors being open to long or something. We get back, and the truck continues to not want to start. We take it, check the battery, and all is well with that. Had the starter checked, that was good also. Turns out it was the starter wire. The had somehow managed to rip it in half. They attempted to try to fix it with duct tape and some silver heat wrap instead of telling us about it. We could have had it fixed that day. If i could give them a -5 star i would. They charged us for a part that didnt even get replaced, because it wasnt broken. They needed to buy more time so they could rig our starter wire with duct tape. I would not recommend anyone take there vehicles here. read more
