A raffle that was won and a deal that was made with the owners 20 years ago promised free chiropractic care for life, for everyone living under the house. Under new ownership this promise has been broken. All of the original staff has been removed as well. From the time you walk in to the moment you leave, it is a superb experience. I went in feeling foggy, stiff, achy, and just not really in the mood for much of anything. It was a terrible day for feeling icky in my body. It took me over an hour to do a small amount of paperwork, but Carla was so kind and patient. Victoria, Tyler, and Dr. Hess with his ANOINTED HANDS, treated me quite well. I always had a fear of chiropractic work, but it was nothing like I imagined. It was much better than expected. I was skeptical at first about going to a chiropractor, from all the misinformation out here about what happens when you go. Not true.. I liked that during the consultation they explained about chiropractic history and what adjustments can do for people. I've been going here for about a month now and I've have had improvements in my right hand with the pain and stiffness of carpal tunnel. The movement in my next has improved. My lower back pain improved. My dizziness gone. I have a hip that is higher than the other, that makes me feel uneven at times,it's improving. I still have more treatment to go but I am more than confident that everything that I was experiencing before treatment will be no more. I really enjoyed going here. I mean what's not to love? The customer service is excellent! As soon as you sign in you're getting called to go to the back before you can even sit down, and last but not least you will definitely see improvement. The location is super easy to get to, there's not a lot of parking but it works. All of the chiropractors are really nice, the environment is extremely family oriented. The only thing I didn't care for was the lengthy sign up process. I understand getting an X-ray done but having to sit through and watch a video was a tad bit much for me. I got there on time just to sit in the waiting area for an hour just for my reassessment, I am not a very happy person right now. I cannot recommend this place. We just moved from NC to GA and have been long time chiropractic patients. The first visit was ok, but the 2nd one was terrible. The office flat out LIED and said the only way that visits would be covered by insurance would be if we went 2x a week for 16 weeks I knew that wasn't the case since I have the same insurance and I know that my policy doesn't have that requirement. My policy covers 24 visits a year and lets you go whenever you need to I wrote back to them to see if they would work with us - and they said they would not. which is ridiculous - ESPECIALLY when both my husband were very clear on the first visit that we were only looking for occasional maintenance visits read more

If you need care as a new patient, consider another provider. Discover won't treat you until you've had a muscle test, x-rays, Doctor's report, seen a 90-minute Video & had a tour of their facility. I love the DC practice and family. I began looking for a chiropractor once I started to experience severe shoulder pain. I always knew I needed to go because of my spine misalignment but my shoulder was the final straw. I could not roll over in bed at night without feeling like my joint was being ripped from it's socket. Anyway, I came across Discover Chiropractic - on Yelp! of course - and immediately made my appointment. The assessment revealed my shoulder pain (I had not told them about it) and my spine misalignment was caused by one of my hips being higher than the other. I literally walked like a drunk person. Never in a straight line.. ever. I started my treatment plan which took a little over a year and I feel so much better! The doctors and assistants here are so pleasant and helpful. They also make sure to cater to your specific needs during each visit. I felt like part of a family. It was always nice before or after a hard day of work to come to a group of smiling faces. The team often remembered what we talked about last time and would follow up with me about fun or family things going on. I highly recommend DC for your chiropractic needs. I picked up one of my Lyft passagers from this place and he highly recommended it so I decided to give it a shot. On the surface everything seems perfect. Very nice and helpful staff. They give you a free x-ray, unlike many places so you can really see what's going on, more on this later. Now, on to the weird stuff. When you first sign up, you go through an orientation, which was very informative about the history of chiropractic work and the staff will tell their personal stories. When they started to talk about God that's when my bullshit sensors started to go off. Im a believer don't get me wrong, but when people mix that with business, I know to run for the hills. It was a cult like briefing to me to try and brainwash you into believing why you should give them money 3 times a week for 40+ weeks Another weird thing is that they show all patients the SAME X-RAY. They will say your vertebrae is curved and your hips are mis-aligned so you will be scared into doing whatever they tell you because I was. Take my advice and get a second x-ray done by someone else. When I did, my x-ray didn't look anything like theirs! On top of all that, they are gonna try and treat you 2-3 times per week. That's gonna add up. My session lasted about 3 minutes and he sent me on my way and took $45 from me. Any true chiropractic clinic will say that's much too much to fix your pain. They are nice people though that's why they get 2 stars. read more

I started going to Discover Chiropractic because my neck got hurt after sparring with someone at a BJJ class. My neck was so badly hurt from that that I'd have pins and needle like sensations in my head and face. With various other places on my body that were just sore to the touch and to top it off I'd sometimes have a hard time breathing (as if I had asthma, which I don't). I started going to Discover Chiropractic after going to the hospital and seeing different doctors who wanted to put me on nerve blockers and pain meds. Since going to Discover things have gotten much better; I'm feeling less and less numbness/pins and needles in my head and face. They make everything so simple for patients, especially if you do a monthly payment plan and all I do is swipe my card they gave me, wait for my name to be called and then go to a room to wait for my adjustment. My back hurts and over two weeks ago, I decided to seek treatment from Discover. My first visit was a waste. They did do xrays and some other scammy thing, but I didn't get any kind of relief. Worst doctors office I have ever been to. They have great personality and are very friendly, but that's all so they can sucker you in on their scamming. I was told that using their "discount program" was going to be cheaper than going thru my insurance. (I was never told that they were out of network) To start I was told it was going to cost me $37 but after everything was said and done the bill jumped to $140. After being there for 2 and a half hours, I was never given an adjustment and still left the office in pain. They want you to come back and seat thru a 90 min presentation and then you'll get your adjustment. Thats terrible business to me. Now after telling people about them, I hear nothing but bad experiences with them. I will NEVER recommend them to anyone! read more

This office really has a great system and the Staff and all the Doctors listen and You really feel their passion to get You in a better state of Health. I have been to several Chiropractors who actually did more modalities and things, but this meant You still stayed there longer and no real results. I called Discover Chiropractic and asked if I could see a chiropractor on the 1st day of service. I was told yes. I am out of town weekly and do not have time for multiple appointments. I made the appointment for the following week on my one day off. I was told I would have xrays and be able to see the dr. I really did not have time for a long drawn out process, but I was in so much pain I was willing to do what it took as long as what it took wasn't a bunch of bologna. When I got to the clinic I was seen by an associate who began a 45 minute sales pitch. After 45 minutes I asked when I would see the doctor. She told me I would have to come back the following day for a group class and then make another appointment for the doctor. I walked out. I didn't have time for that. The girl chased me out, yelling at me that I needed to pay my copay. I told her I was not paying for anything. The following day my fiance called and straitened it all out. This all happened March 19, 2014. They told my fiance that it was taken care of and that they would not be charging my insurance or me since there were no services rendered. The girl ran some bull shit scanner over my back for a total of about 30 seconds. Today, September 12, 2014 I got a bill in the mail for $30. The copay. I called and the billing manager said that they will be taking me to collections if I do not pay the copay amount even though they did not perform a service. Bad practice. I have since been to a reputable chiropractor that does not get his money by screwing his patients out of $30. read more

This is the most weirdish chiropractic place I've ever been to. All the god quotes printed out on the walls screams out "Discover Cults" not discover chiropractic. The pretense is that your condition is so special and you are totally not just a number when you visit the practice, even though them giving you a card to check-in everytime you arrive for your appointment says otherwise. Being made to sit through a panel of the staff members who recount their stories about being helped by chiropractic care is just that....only a good story aka unverifiable, this place needs to be respectful of other folks time and drone on for nearly 25 mins of presentation material not including testimonials. One thing they are upfront and honest about though is getting that money. ASAP. The care itself does not last that long. I'd go to a chiropractor that charges reasonable rates for care and not charge exorbitant prices for tests and "quick" adjustments.
