When I first saw Dr Ram for my back and leg problems I could barely walk. After several treatments the pain was greatly diminished. After several months I have experienced only occasional discomfort. Also, I have been having bad ankle problems and a surgeon advised ankle fusion or replacement which are both out of the question. I am a new patient at the Discover Wellness Center. I did not have appointment (I recommend making one they are busy). I was welcomed woth a friendly greeting. I asked if ther was a chance i could be seen. I didnt e expect them to but the did!! Just some paperwork to fill out. The doctor could see my main issue and put my neck back in place.i feel so much better! Of course there is going to be alor of work I need but atleast for tonight I msy get some rest!! I have suffered chronic lower back pain for over 15 years. I had just come to accept that was the way it was always going to be. In the last 10 years, I also began to have severe headaches. I had seen another chiropractor before, but treatment did not address any of the issues I had. Many visits with doctors over the years saw me taking a lot of meds that weren't helping and then backing them up with a lot of Ibuprofen. My body was becoming very tired of this and depression began to hit hard. I took a chance on Dr. Ram and the Discover Wellness Center and it may have been an absolutely life-altering chance. I began decompression therapy about a week ago and I am already beginning to feel some relief. The headaches have begun to dissipate, my lower back pain has reduced slightly and I am feeling more able-bodied than before I began therapy. I am taking less Ibuprofen and have stopped one unnecessary drug already. It isn't just chiropractic care, it is a whole more homeopathic approach to wellness that has proven successful thus far. I was given information on an anti-inflammatory diet as well as an anti-inflammatory herbal supplement and some Biofreeze rub on when needed. I was supplied with a belt which holds an ice pack to ice my back after treatments. This has helped tremendously and while the diet is not the easiest, I have been able to keep on it.
