They go above and beyond with the decor and attention to detail and creepy statues, and ugh gross. They had some of the creepiest elves I've ever seen in my life. The actors are also great. The wait was not too long. We might've waited 30 minutes in line - much longer during Halloween. It was really fun with so many different Christmas themes. There was even cousin Eddie from National Lampoon's Christmas vacation which was hilarious. I really enjoyed this Christmas haunted house. The actors did an awesome job. There were definitely plenty of jump scares. And at the end they had a Christmas bar with Christmas themed cocktails! It was a super fun to spend our evening.

We really liked the special Circus exhibit. There was also a Family Fest going on outside today, so we were able to enjoy that, as well. We got some art and craft projects in; pet some animals; and even got some complimentary books from the library. And don't forget the bouncy house and the inflatable slide! It was an enjoyable day and I appreciate all that the Massillon community put into this event and into the museum itself.

Then you need to go here!! I have been to factory of terror since I believe 2018 at Christmas time. They used to have a Krampus haunted house. Now they have Christmas experience for all ages. This year's Halloween haunted attraction was awesome. It was not the scariest but it was the most fun! My friend and I decided this year to go to a different haunted house every weekend this year. This was hands down our favorite. You walk in the gates and before you can even get inside there is a carnival themed bar with very creepy clowns. I had the orange screamcisle drink. You can hang out there or go inside the factory. Then inside you wait a bit and get your picture taken (for purchase at the end) then poison ivy's bar which is like a creepy garden bar. We had more cocktails and test tube shots. Then you get in line for the first haunted house - this one was an actual "house". All of the themed bars match the theme of the haunted house. The second haunted house was a factory. The third is a New Orleans cemetery. After that you head to the bourbon street area that has a bar, some vendors, a fortune teller, a lot of seating areas to hangout and a mini nightclub. We had so much fun here! We had hurricanes to drink and did some dancing. Then you move on to the fourth haunted house that is a "house" and hall of mirrors. The final you go through a pirate themed haunted house with special fog effects that make it look like you're walking through water. The final stop is a pirate ship bar - we had rum runners! You can tell they spend a lot of money on the decorations and the costumes are good too! There are definitely some jump scares. We were pretty scared at times. We were there for about 4 hours - you don't have to stay that long but we stopped to hang out at each bar. The wait for each haunted house isn't more than 20 minutes. I can't wait to return for their next event!

I'd recommend the covering because your clothes will get dirty. They had a bunch of different rooms in the building dedicated for the painting. The rooms have black walls and a full drum set. You can paint on your canvases, the walls, drum set, each other, anything! We got to choose our music for the entire 30 minutes- we just told the worker what artist and they put on a playlist. We had a really good time and would definitely go again, and likely check out the Break Rooms.

I've been here twice recently: once for trick or treat with my son and once for a holiday open…read morehouse specifically for members of a couple other historical sites in Akron. Both times were interesting and I learned a lot at the open house. The trick or treat was more fast-paced, so not a lot of time to ask questions about the history, but the open house was very relaxed and I had lots of great conversations with the docents. This house is very haunted, especially by Martha in the upstairs bedroom in the back of the house. I also walked over to the John Brown house. I had never been there. I am still confused about who exactly John Brown was. He was loved and hated; he was revered and despised. That house is much smaller than the Perkins house, but it is open to the public and there is some interesting history there too. They were also housing an art exhibit featuring barns of Ohio. (See my photo with this). My son's favorite part of our October visit to Perkins was the sheep grazing on the lawn outside with the beautiful autumn colors in the background. I learned the other day that they are "borrowed" for the summer and autumn, and then go to warmer pastures in the summer.

The seats now have the seat number on the head rest so they are easily identifiable in the dark. The only thing I don't like about the seats is the seat reclines and declines as one unit--the legs and back do not adjust independently of each other. The seats have excellent lumbar support.

The Canton Museum of Art (CMA) is an unexpected art gem in the Canton's art district. It is located…read morein the Cultural Center for the Arts. The building contains Canton Ballet, Sing Stark, and ArtsinStark. You can have an entire cultural adventure in the same space. That's exactly what my experience was. I visited the center for St Nicholas Balalaika performance, and discovered that the building had this museum. I love art and so I HAD TO stop in. SPACE: The museum doors are accessible through the Cultural Center for the Arts. You can peek through large windows to get a lot at some art at the Cultural Center for the Arts. The museum has multiple rooms of art. There is plenty of room to explore. The museum also has a small souvenir shop. ADMISSION: Regular adult admission is $8. Free admission is available every Thursday and first Friday of every month. ART: The art museum has a space with gorgeous sculptures. There are also art works for sale in the foyer. Few striking pieces are available. The main exhibit space is displayed in multiple rooms. The current exhibition is Shattered Glass: The Women Who Elevated American Art (on display until March 1). To be honest, prior to the visit here I was only able to name Gloria O'Keefe as a renowned female artist. This exhibit expanded my horizons. There were so many famous and global women artists. It's a very empowering exhibit. You'll even find the renowned "Migrant Mother" photograph. The art includes digital art room. Plan for extra time to look at every piece of art and read every single story. Also, linger by the guestbook available in the galleries. There are beautiful reflections about the exhibit. Leave your own. SERVICE: I was blown away with the service here! I've been to museums in various parts of the work, and this one was the friendliest. I arrived during the last 30 minutes of their work day. The staff welcomed me with open arms. They were friendly, informative, and invited me back. It was an excellent experience. PARKING: There is a surface lot by the center. There is also a parking garage to accommodate visitors. I look forward to returning to the museum for events and exhibits. This museum is such a gem, more people should talk about it. I loved my time there - the art, the hospitality, and the new perspective about women artists.
