They have a great schedule for our toddler, access to cameras and the staff is amazing. He is 7 months old currently, but has been attending since he was 3 months old, and the teachers adore him. There are only 4 babies for every 1 teacher and so each baby really gets the amount of love and attention necessary. They engage the children in so many activities ranging from music time to exploration time with toys to arts and crafts (yes, even babies!). They go outside twice a day for at least 30 minutes, if not more, and they are so diligent about feeding him at the right time. If you ever have any concerns, they are very quick and polite to respond, and they constantly update you through the ProCare app. I am also able to view my son through a private live video feed provided by PB&J TV. This daycare is truly a blessing. They do so much to make you and your child feel welcome. My husband and I are considering moving houses and we are really torn up about the fact MFA2 may not be in our driving range anymore. We're considering not moving just so he can stay! Please give this place a chance, you won't regret it!

This daycare has gone downhill since Francesca left. I've…read moredropped my child off the VPK multiple times and there have been teachers yelling at students. I never know what classroom my child will be in at pick up or what teacher she will be with. Monday (11/27) at pick up there was a teacher holding a completely naked toddler on her hip outside at 5pm when it was 60ish degrees. No effort or rush to dress this child. Two other teachers stood there laughing about this poor girl. When I spoke with the director, Darlene, the next morning her tone was accusatory and she did not seem as concerned as she should've been. The facility always smells dirty as well. At no point have I walked in and thought 'it smells freshly cleaned in here.' As a parent, it is concerning the level of neglect going on at this facility. If you have other options, do not send your children here. I elevated my complaints to the district manager, Kelly, and she also did not seem to care about the safety and well being of the children.

I spoke with Ms. Angelica and just by our conversation, I knew My First Academy was going to be our choice. Ms. Angelica gave me all of the information I asked for without reservation and requiring a tour. Their classrooms are CLEAN, ORGANIZED, and small (infants has 4 babies total). There are cameras that I can log into throughout the day, an app that I can communicate directly with the teachers, standardization (uniforms & backpacks), the building is secured at all times, automated system to log children in/out, and an added bonus they offer meals and snacks as part of tuition. As for the ALL OF THE STAFF, they all genuinely care about the children. I feel like the staff acts as an extended family for my daughter. My child has learned so much (Spanish, sign language, social skills, manners, and respect for others). I have cried over the thought of leaving and trying to find another place that would care for my child the way they do. Ms. Angelica understood my concern and offered to contact any child care facility I had in mind to ensure it would be a good fit. As you can see, they aren't your average facility and I recommend them without any reservations! I WOULD GIVE THEM 10 STARS IF I COULD!

My experience with this daycare was deeply disappointing. While the facility is visually appealing…read moreand well-designed aesthetically, the level of professionalism and understanding of early childhood development did not meet expectations. My 3-year-old has been in daycare since he was 6 months old, and within only three weeks of attending My First Academy, he was expelled. Throughout the process, communication was extremely limited and relied almost entirely on an app rather than direct conversations with parents. In situations involving young children and behavioral concerns, personal communication is essential. What became most concerning to me was the apparent lack of willingness to understand or support a child's developmental and emotional needs. I requested collaboration with childcare professionals and even suggested having my child evaluated by a therapist because the behavior being described was unexpected and out of character. Instead of working together to identify solutions and support growth, the school chose removal. Early childhood education requires patience, communication, emotional intelligence, and partnership with parents. Children at this age are still learning how to regulate emotions and navigate social environments. Schools should be prepared to guide and support that development rather than quickly dismiss children who may need additional understanding. I truly believe this school has potential to positively serve the community, but that will require prioritizing child development and family partnership over policies and revenue. Technology and apps can be helpful tools for updates and follow-up, but they should never replace meaningful verbal communication between teachers and parents. Children benefit from seeing adults communicate respectfully and collaboratively on their behalf.
