The team at Chilly Billy were the first to respond to my project request on Yelp and gave us the best price and service out of the other 3 vendors we quoted. We had a full HVAC upgrade and replaced the condenser, cooling unit, vent plates, and duct work. The team started in the morning around 9am or so and finished at about 6pm - for all of the work they had to do and having to access the cooling unit in a tight space in the attic, they accomplished a lot in a day's work. Most of your large overly advertised AC companies just wanted to sell me a full system after only 7 years of use. However my system was still under the manufacturer 10 year warranty which they were able to get the part replaced for free and I just paid for labor. Chilly Billy Came To The Resue! We have a 4000 sq ft home in Windermere. One of our 2 a/c units packed up which was 20 yrs old. Chilly Billy on recommendation from our next door neighbor attended site the same day I called, gave me a quote within an hour and were on site the next day with new equipment to install. They even offered me a few portable a/c units in the area that was down to cover the kitchen, office and family room areas while they got everything organized and did the work. Chris knows his business and how to make things happen. His wife Taisha is a dream to work with and is a strong back up for their services and organization. She is very polite and very professional. Next I tried putting in a request through YELP but never got a return call through that either. So my experience is that if you are not able to contact a business to book in an appointment, they are likely not very reliable. Hello everyone, I had an issue with my AC unit not blowing any air, despite the thermostat indicating that it was on. The Dynamic Duo of Jesus P. and his disciple, Roberto came to inspect the unit. They were extremely knowledgeable, courteous, and mindful of cleaning up after themselves. Jesus showed me that it was the motor that no longer worked. They came back the next day with a new motor, cleaned the unit's coils, added a UV light to clear microbes, installed a new relay switch, and cleaned my air ducts, all for a fair price. We called this company after having issues with a large Osceola county AC company. Our previous company had us under a maintenance plan and every time they came out within 1 month we had a "new" issue. Our last visit resulted in an AC that was working becoming inoperable and they had no resolution other than a new system at $12k. Forget that we contacted Top Tech and from then on everything went quickly and problem free. Owner communicated everything and gave us many options. Chris was very professional and knowledgeable. Although my a/c units are only 4 years old, he was able to point out to me some practices that would save me money over time. With a routine check up, they found mold in my units but cleaned it and gave me advice on how to prevent it from happening. We had a bad experience with another AC company last week who did not fix our AC yet wanted to sell us a service plan among other things, and even wanted to charge us for the actual part they said we needed that is still under the manufacturer 's warranty. We had been without air conditioning for five days only to find out after multiple calls to them trying to find out when they were coming back with the part to fix our AC, that they never even ordered the part we supposedly needed. We had a bad feeling, told them not to bother ordering anything at this point, and sought out another company. A wonderful technician by the name of Richard Petty was here in an hour and a half, ran diagnostics on both the outside and inside system, had the situation diagnosed and fixed in no time, and it turns out we didn't even need the part the other company said we did. This is a legit, professional, honest company and we won't hesitate to call on them again and refer them to everyone we know.
