The team at Chilly Billy were the first to respond to my project request on Yelp and gave us the best price and service out of the other 3 vendors we quoted. We had a full HVAC upgrade and replaced the condenser, cooling unit, vent plates, and duct work. The team started in the morning around 9am or so and finished at about 6pm - for all of the work they had to do and having to access the cooling unit in a tight space in the attic, they accomplished a lot in a day's work. My AC unit stopped working on Saturday. I'd used Frank Gay before and had their maintenance plan, so I called them. To Frank Gay's credit, they came out quickly and determined that the capacitor had blown. I was relieved because it was an older unit. However, the service tech insisted that my machine needed to be replaced. He said it was in critical condition and showed me the readout. He said it was over-amping and wouldn't last two months. Fortunately, they had a "special" going on for new units. Sounded like a sales pitch so I took a picture of the readout he showed me and uploaded it to ChatGPT. It said not to trust those numbers because they were way off and it looked like the probes were reversed. ChatGPT encouraged me to call someone else. So I did. Chilly Billy's came out today - two days later. The AC guy was named Nas - very easy to talk to and smart. He ran the same tests and determined that while my unit is pretty old - it's working fine. The numbers were well within manufacturer guidelines. They said they would not recommend replacing the unit. So, I learned I can't trust Frank Gay. I cancelled my maintenance membership and found a new HVAC company in Chilly Billy. I'm uploading the photos. One is Frank Gay. The other is Chilly Billy two days later. They solved the problem but the price was high, the guy was slow after a few mistakes, and left garbage debris that he dumped in the grass. If I paid $200 or did it myself I wouldn't complain $700 for what should have been an hour of work. He kept trying to upsell everything I asked about for another 200 plus dollars. It was unprofessional. The service was unclog a drain and replace a sensor. I had to stop working my job to help him do his job because somehow he had to fix a new problem other than the one I called about. And water was spilled on the ceiling material leaving additional stains that I will have to paint over now. read more

Chilly Billy Came To The Resue! We have a 4000 sq ft home in Windermere. One of our 2 a/c units packed up which was 20 yrs old. Chilly Billy on recommendation from our next door neighbor attended site the same day I called, gave me a quote within an hour and were on site the next day with new equipment to install. They even offered me a few portable a/c units in the area that was down to cover the kitchen, office and family room areas while they got everything organized and did the work. So my experience is that if you are not able to contact a business to book in an appointment, they are likely not very reliable. Hello everyone, I had an issue with my AC unit not blowing any air, despite the thermostat indicating that it was on. The Dynamic Duo of Jesus P. and his disciple, Roberto came to inspect the unit. They were extremely knowledgeable, courteous, and mindful of cleaning up after themselves. Jesus showed me that it was the motor that no longer worked. They came back the next day with a new motor, cleaned the unit's coils, added a UV light to clear microbes, installed a new relay switch, and cleaned my air ducts, all for a fair price. Our previous company had us under a maintenance plan and every time they came out within 1 month we had a "new" issue. Our last visit resulted in an AC that was working becoming inoperable and they had no resolution other than a new system at $12k.
