My child was allowed to do arts & crafts in 2nd grade all day . 3 rd grade was given candy and toys to basically be quiet and leave the staff alone. I was told my child was crying all day and refusing to do work . That was not true . I found out other parents in the same class were being told the exact same thing about their children . Bullying and threats made by students were disregarded by staff .

She kept saying that she would have favorites and they had assigned seating because they would talk. Of course they would talk!! There are 100 children seated at the same spot. Do they expect to hold back after learning for 2 more hours? She also mentioned that they would have assigned places to play what if they get bored? They are forced to just play one sport for a week!?!??!?!! I would give a 1 star but since I'm nice 2 stars.

My son is 6yrs old and has special needs and Fenton has been able to accommodate him with all the IEP services he needs. He can be extremely challenging but Fenton has done a great job working with him and providing him with the support he needs. They communicate with me about his progress and his behavior, always keeping me informed. I love the fun activities they do as well, the energy is always bright and positive, and my son is always looking forward to going to school. When I pick him up from school he always has friends calling out his name and saying goodbye and for me this is such a special feeling knowing he's being accepted by his peers. I am thankful that he's at Fenton.

Along with the fact that they take away personal belongings from the students while looking for something completely unrelated is unacceptable. Giving other students who obviously follow the rules consequences while the ones who don't listen get off scott free is just insufferable because it happens everyday. do not recommend.
