I can not say enough about Cadence Academy. We are so grateful that we found such a loving group of…read moreteachers to care for and teach our children. We started our daughter at Cadence during the pandemic. Cadence was so welcoming and facilitated me being able to meet my daughter's teachers via Zoom before we started. Although we were not able to enter the building to send our daughter off, they made it feel as though we could with their awesome report app that they use to send you updates and pictures of your child throughout the day. Through the last few years we have grown to know and love the teachers at Cadence. When we had our second child, we started him in daycare even sooner than we did our first because we had that trust in Cadence. We are so happy with our Cadence family, and would strongly recommend them to anyone searching for care and education for their children.

All of the teachers there are very warm, loving, and nurturing. The environment is safe, clean, and spacious. There were some staffing retainment issues at one point, but there has recently been a drastic shift in management which has been received favorably by all parents and staff. The food included in the tuition is thoughtfully prepared, selected, and of very good quality. The playground areas are segregated by age and are very spacious. The daily note system they use gives parents a huge piece of mind of their children's daily activities. They also do progress reports on the children which are not at all generic. They are very personable and well critiqued. The additional activities offered through Cadence are cohesive and engaging. Events like parents nights, pajama parties, and arts and crafts parties offer even more opportunities for both education and social interaction. The teachers there love and accept all children with graceful patience like they are their own. They are very creative with their daily activities and classroom routines. Cadence, for my family, has allowed my wife and I to focus on our jobs while at work knowing that our children are nurtured and loved during the day.

I actually ended up pausing my membership until they get it back up and running. It's really my only complaint but the number one reason I use the gym after a long run.

I sadly need to update my review to emphasize that the men's locker room is still not maintained or…read morecleaned on a regular basis whatsoever. I have been a member here for years, and continue to watch the conditions deteriorate. I have notified management, and they always have the same response: "we let our cleaning company and maintenance team know about the issues" ... and then absolutely nothing happens. I haven't been able to use the steam room in weeks because the mold has gotten so bad and the stench is unbearable. There is hair, grime/dirt and refuse all over the floors, walls and benches which doesn't get cleaned up. There is an mold in the shower area ceiling, walls, and stalls/curtain which continues to grow worse every week. There are also flies in the shower area year round and they have been there for years. You can watch them crawl all over the ceiling and the stalls as you shower, and sometimes they land on you. I give Lu Brito credit for sitting down with me several months ago and acknowledging all the issues I pointed out in my previous review. He agreed that there was a big problem, and that he would be really keeping a close eye to make sure that the Men's locker room started to be cleaned again. He assured me that they would take a "proactive" approach instead of a "reactive" one. But basically, several small repairs were made to rotting or broken infrastructure, and absolutely nothing changed in terms of cleanliness. No lasting changes occurred as a result of that conversation which is why I am writing this update. I am appalled that the executive director Debbie Fringuelli continues to be passive towards these concerns and doesn't play a more active role in addressing the issues. The photos speak for themself. This is not a sanitary environment, and staff continues to gaslight by saying that "the locker room is cleaned nightly." You can literally observe the large cobwebs grow bigger over the mold which proves that is untrue. I have belonged to dozens of gyms in my life, all over the country. This is by far the most neglected facility I have ever been to. They recently raised rates (twice) and I seriously have no idea where that money is going but it is certainly not going towards cleaning or maintaining the facility. Bottom line is they need to clean up their act, and this facility. The male patrons of the Gleason YMCA deserve better.

The food is prepared in house as opposed to other daycares who give frozen foods. I was assured my toddler will be getting fresh food with variety and she will be exposed to lot of cuisines. Activity wise also they teach them lot of things and i was surprised to see my toddler's vocabulary had suddenly increased and she could count, tell colors apart and alphabets.. I am happy with the move.. only con i would say the price changed steeply from 1 year to other and i wish the prices stay under 500 per week

Over the past 13 months she has bonded so well with her teachers and her peers and she has mastered many skills (both verbal and physical) along the way. The center's food menu has a great variety and, honestly, I feel less stressed not to have to worry about packing her lunch and subsequently she has learned not to be a picky eater at all. With both of us having 10+ hour work days including our commutes, it truly gives us a peace of mind knowing that our daughter is in good hands. The facility is very clean, convenient location for commuters, and the teachers are very knowledgeable. I'd recommend this facility to any parent looking for childcare.

At that time when she started, she was 4.5 months old. I was scared at first due to COVID, but quickly noticed that they were taking great precautions. I felt safe knowing she was in good hands. Since January, I am truly impressed with the outstanding care she is receiving from Miss Lorie and Miss Angela. The teachers keep me up to date with how she is doing developmentally all the time. I introduced the sippy cup recently, and the teachers were very happy to continue to help her practice using it while at school. They figured out a nap and feeding schedule that I can adhere to on the weekends. Everyone has been very responsive to my questions, and get back to me in a timely manner. My daughter comes home clean every day. I am very impressed that everyone knows my husband and I by name. I see how everyone interacts with my daughter and it warms my heart. I feel comfortable leaving her here knowing she is going to be well cared for. Not to mention, they still do a lot of activities with families after school despite COVID. Right near Valentines's Day, they had a Sweetheart Dance that we attended on Zoom. It was so nice to see families dancing, singing, and listening to stories. I am so happy to have chosen this school for my little one. They have become my second family. If you are considering sending your little one to daycare, please consider this school. I am thankful I did :)
