Slightly less convenient location, but truth be known, I'd drive 50 miles more if needed. First off, these employees are super nice! And it's not just "hi", "have a nice day". They're just exceptionally nice. Also, they're crazy helpful. I walk in the door and show the gentleman what I need. He says "oh, that's a union brass diverter valve, come down here, I'll show you where it is" what I didn't tell him it's I spent two weeks figuring out who the original manufacturer was! Should've just come here to begin with. I typically only shop at Lowe's. Lowe's didn't have what I needed. Working in the restaurant business I do not shy away from places like this to seek out treasures. I have been wanting to stop by here for a long time but my hours don't always work well with theirs. It is also hard to tell whether it is open or closed because of the old windows and no bright signage in the window. It is a pretty small space but they have packed a lot in there, surprisingly in an organized fashion. There is a variety of things anyone obsessed with food and cooking would want without paying the prices of retail kitchen stores like WS. A china cap is under $20. The same chinois I paid $50+ for in Charleston,SC is under $30. Small cake pans for $2.50. They have a large assortment of cake pans, all the scoops you could need, Cambros, knives, cleaning supplies, glasses, barware, etc. Here is the catch: cash only, unless you are a restaurant. Then I assume you setup an account and pay by check. It is super old school and I don't think that's going to change. I walked in on a rare day that I had cash and was able to get my goodies. I will be a return customer for sure. I hope more people check them out!

I've been in this store multiple times and they have NEVER once greeted me upon entering, don't ask if I need assistance, and they always look bored and distracted sitting at the checkout counter usually looking at their cell phones. Even when I've made purchases, they hardly look up at me; just ring me up and sit back down. It's kind of a bummer because it's such a bright and cheery store and the staff is a total downer.
