There is a small bar towards the front when you walk in where they pretty much play electronic music, but keep walking to the back where it's a little bigger and you'll find a larger bar with lots of high tables and chairs spread throughout and not much of a dance floor. The music they play is a mix of EVERYTHING! What's really cool is that they play the music with the music video on their TV screens. So it's actually pretty comical and entertaining to watch some of these videos. Me and my group had a BLAST dancing and acting wild and crazy here without a care in the world! I prefer to drink cheap red wine, from experience I know that when you don't confirm the price you can get charged whatever. So at this place I made sure to order directly from the menu, I said what I wanted, I pointed to what I wanted on the menu, sure there is a language barrier, but not that significant. Wine was tasty, but nothing special. When the bill arrived I quickly noticed that my 150 peso wine was rung up at 370 peso instead. This was more than the price of everything else we ordered including a huge serving of guacamole and a shot of what was meant to be a moderately priced tequila. I alerted the person who seemed to be the manager that this had occurred, he briefly spoke to the bartender who insisted he had showed us the bottle of wine and we agreed to this one in it's place. This did not happen. I protested that it was not what I ordered and that I did not thing I should have to pay more than double for being given something I didn't ask for. He wouldn't budge, he knows there is nothing that we can do about it. There's really no choice but to pay, write a bad review and try to remember to avoid this at all costs on our next visit. I hate that it put a bad taste in my mouth for my visit to Ensenada. I just hate when people are shady on purpose. Go somewhere else where they have more integrity.

My drink was ridiculously tasty as i am a huge guava fan and the bourbon balances the sweetness of the guava with the liquor. the pulpo (octopus) ceviche was wonderful and delicious with just the right portion and served with thin tortilla chips. Chris was so kind and chatted with us almost the entire time we were there. i HIGHLY recommend stopping by here for a quick drink and light bite even if you are here to explore the wines in this wine country. my only mistake was that we came here after having drank so much already from visiting all the wineries!

A youth baseball team from Casa de Oro Little League ("The Party Animals") appeared to be having a team celebration here, and the situation was completely out of control. There were roughly 30 children, ranging from about 5-11 years old, running throughout the arcade and bar area. Kids were climbing on virtually every game, including the pinball machines, basketball games, skee-ball, baseball games, beer pong tables, and Dance Dance Revolution. They were screaming at the top of their lungs, throwing coasters around, hitting people, and even knocking over drinks at nearby tables. What made the situation worse was the complete lack of supervision. Many parents were outside while the kids ran wild inside, and the few adults who were present did not seem interested in correcting the behavior or intervening at all. I understand that servers and bartenders are not babysitters, and I don't expect them to parent other people's children. However, at some point management should have stepped in. This wasn't normal kid behavior or a little extra noise--it was genuine chaos that was impacting other paying customers trying to enjoy their evening. We've always liked The Hills and have spent a lot of money here over the years, which is why it's so frustrating to write this review. Tonight was easily the worst experience we've ever had here. If management is going to allow large youth sports parties in the future, there needs to be some expectation of supervision and basic respect for other guests.
