Great views / prices / and has a huge beer selection! Didn't try any food but it didn't look bad!

Great bar on the waterfront all by itself. Plenty of parking. Kind of divided in 2: large beer hall great for groups, and outside a patio with various different craft beers. Kind of looks like each individual microbrew mans their own pour stations. I had the Almond Joy Porter from Mexicali brewer Puerco Salvaje. The outside patio has the greatest views of the Pacific you can find anywhere. We also had some decent french fries to munch on - looks like they have plenty of bar food too. Located near the Hotel Punta Morro and the UABC University. Seems to be a popular place for the local college crowd. Only challenge is if you are coming from Ensenada and heading north, its a challenge crossing the road with the traffic. Suggest just go north and u-turn at the light about a mile away.

    Cheers from Ensenada...

I love coming here. A great location with bar food libations, and of course beers!! They also happen to serve my favorite Agua Mala!!!! My friends loved it and already want to come back!!

The best tap room in Mexico! The view, the quantity and quality of the beers, the vibe.... looking forward to be back soon!

Empty margarita, 20 minutes later, not asked for another.

I just wish I could leave 0 stars. Worst service ever even by ensanada standards! Lots of potential, great location, everything else sucks!

The restaurant is conveniently located not far from the cruise port, making it an easy walk from the ship. It was a nice open floorplan. The theme fit one of a mexican restaurant. The menu had a great variety of options, so everyone in our group was able to find something they enjoyed. The food was delicious, and the portions were satisfying. The drink selection was also impressive. They offer excellent margaritas, both blended and on the rocks, along with a variety of other alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages. We especially enjoyed trying the Mexican cola. What stood out most was the service. Our party was fairly large, but the staff was friendly, attentive, and welcoming. Despite our group's size, our food arrived surprisingly quickly. If you're visiting Ensenada on a cruise and looking for a local restaurant with good food, tasty drinks, friendly service, and a convenient location near the port, La Taberna de Ensenada is definitely worth a visit!

The alcohol was disgusting. We sat at the bar, so for us service was impeccable. They accept cards which was a major plus. While we sat a little girl came up to me to sell bracelets - I gave her some cash and did not take a bracelet. It's so sad when I see kids having to work.

what an awesome little spot just off to the side of the street. it sits on the corner of the side…read moreroad to which we turn in to get to Casa Encinares B&B. It's an outdoor wooden shack, no doors. we noticed it because there was a sign that said "beer" and we saw lots of people there. our host at the B&B told us we must try it before we leave, so we did. as soon as we sat down at the bar, a big tall gentleman came to greet us. he spoke perfect english and made some awesome recommendations. BF had a couple of beers (cant remember what they were, but i believe it was local), and because i wasn't planning on drinking more (we just got done with a small winery tasting tour), but Chris recommended i try the cocktiel de guayaba, its a bourbon cocktail with guava! It was only 40 pesos and if the owner recommends me.....why would i refuse? we were super hungry so we wanted something light and Chris recommended the pulpo ceviche (100 pesos). My drink was ridiculously tasty as i am a huge guava fan and the bourbon balances the sweetness of the guava with the liquor. the pulpo (octopus) ceviche was wonderful and delicious with just the right portion and served with thin tortilla chips. Chris was so kind and chatted with us almost the entire time we were there. i HIGHLY recommend stopping by here for a quick drink and light bite even if you are here to explore the wines in this wine country. my only mistake was that we came here after having drank so much already from visiting all the wineries!
