Walking into La Bikina Bar, I expected a completely different vibe knowing it used to be the old Lucky Irish Four--but what I found was a total reinvention in the best way possible. Food was absolutely horrible, not an Irish pub at all. They don't even serve Guinness food came out except for the burgers and by the time they did everyone else was done eating. False advertisement and an insult to Irish people. read more

Came here for a wedding at the nearby Hotel as a getaway. We wanted something a bit more casual where we could eat and drink without the entertaining of guests and extended friends/family. This was also the same weekend as Beach Fest. Although it's walking distance we decided to drive because we don't even need to use the street really and i'ts dark with 12 of us. We had problems finding the entrance due to how the parking is not really centralized around the front door. Since we are in the time of COVID we had our temps checked and were good to go. The band is playing their last songs, it's 80's rock, but we find a large table in the middle. All the TV's are playing 90's and early 2000's pop videos from MTV. Throwback Central. While the service was lacking i was surprised they were even open. They were out of all mariscos, all burgers. We basically just got nachos, pizza and wings. Half of the menu was unavailable. When we ordered drinks again almost half of the things we first wanted were out and while they are supposedly known for their beer selection it was dead on the beer side, music was packing up, and it was randoms all over the place, not quite the ambiance we'd hoped for. 2 rounds of micheladas or margaritas is all we had becuase tha'ts all they seemed to have or could make. I regret not opening a separate tab to drink beer as the set up could have been nice, but i'm also from the beer capital of the world, so I did temper my expectations. I've had much better tap room experiences in TJ. Paid our bill, went back to the hotel and relit the party since the Irish are not lucky in Ensenada. read more

Great Irish pub in Ensenada, Mexico. Good beer. Good Paloma's. Haven't tried the food, so I can't speak to that. You are there for the atmosphere. The outside deck is situated right on the water, with tables and seating. Great to grab a cold one and watch the sunset with your loved one, friends or family, or all. read more

Great bar on the waterfront all by itself. Plenty of parking. Kind of divided in 2: large beer hall great for groups, and outside a patio with various different craft beers. Kind of looks like each individual microbrew mans their own pour stations. I had the Almond Joy Porter from Mexicali brewer Puerco Salvaje. The outside patio has the greatest views of the Pacific you can find anywhere. We also had some decent french fries to munch on - looks like they have plenty of bar food too. Located near the Hotel Punta Morro and the UABC University. Seems to be a popular place for the local college crowd. Only challenge is if you are coming from Ensenada and heading north, its a challenge crossing the road with the traffic. Suggest just go north and u-turn at the light about a mile away. read more

This is a super cute spot with great views of the Ocean. It's an open air bar so if it's cold definitely bring your coats and hats. They have many TV's so watching your favorite team is easy. I've only ordered the chicken fingers but they are high quality breast meat and the portions are huge!! The staff is sweet and over all it's a fun experience. You just need to be mindful of the entrance because it's right off the main road and can sneak up on you--if you get to the Soriana grocery store you have gone too far. Enjoy read more

I've ate here roughly 12 times, sitting here without acknowledgement at the moment. Place is never really that busy.. the service is absolutely terrible. A drink glass can sit empty for 20-30 minutes before a server ever comes back. I'd drink 10x as much alcohol here if they would train their servers. It's unfortunate because I live in walking distance and would drink here daily if they figure out how to fill your drink. I've had to leave my table and walk up to the bar to get a drink numerous times rather wait for the servers. Table next to me sent their wings back, not sure the reason. The other table to my left the server brought them Dos XX bottles with the caps on and they had to use the table edge to open the bottles. One gentleman walked in from outside 8 times I counted to ask for service and forks, refills. Etc. I feel bad for the owner, he probably has zero clue that all his "servers" stand around the bar socializing and not working. read more

First of all the place is Gorgeous! UNBELIEVABLE view Music Large space Place for a band Room to dance Cool mural BUT Aren't Irish pubs supposed to pour Guinness and serve Irish Nachos?? At least Guinness fir god sakes! I saw a upon walking in a real Guinness sign? Mouth all ready yum yum No Guinness!!! Ok I get that there is a brewery next store. But it's separate. I had to go get a dark ale over there which was decent no head but decent tasting. But NO GUINNESS IN AN IRISH PUB CALLED LUCKY IRISH??? No bueno The food was just ok. We had buffalo wings with no carrots or celery. The dressing was bland and really should be blue cheese. The sauce was good very sour. Next The hamburger. It was eh no big deal The plate had good fry's but the bartender brought us a separate plate of differently cut fry's with cheese. Not sure how that happened. We definitely did not order it. But he was not friendly so we just marked it up to language barrier. Had them wrap them up took them home and made Irish nachos with them the next day. It was definitely a strange experience. It was prob the worst since we moved here 5 mo ago. Might be fun for a party or to watch the sunset. But do not think for a second your gonna get a nice Guinness draft here!! If you want a terrific burger fries and experience go to The Hostile Burger in town instead. Muy bueno! read more

Love this place, mostly for the experience and the view. The burger is great too. Not only is the ocean view one of the best, what you hear is incredible. Listen to the waves crash against the rocks, then hear the applause as the water returns to the ocean over the rocks. Beautiful! This place is super cool. Overlooks the beach, has a huge outdoor patio. You walk into a really large inside bar with food service and music with stage at night. As you pass into the indoor/outdoor bar there are about 10 stations for draft beer representing local brewery's and individually staffed. You can taste everything and buy whatever from whoever. A 16 ounce craft beer is like $4. On the other side is another patio for smokers keeping them well separated but comfortable. The waiter service really sucks. I accepted that I might have to stand up & point at the server to come or order my drinks at the bar, like i just know its a thing so I accept it. But that's why 4 stars. read more

OK food, but that is not the reason to go here. Nice staff, good parking, great outdoor seating, the sunset - yes also, but go here if you love craft beer. Off the outdoor seating area craft breweries have many, many unique brews waiting for you. So many that it is a bit overwhelming - but that's ok - I'd rather be overwhelmed by a wealth of possibilities. Go here if you want to find one place to sample the blossoming craft beer scene in Baja California. And then of course go find the little gems that aren't here. read more

We came we saw and we got fed and drunk for $55 American dollars. Great staff. Security guards in parking lots. Very big establishment, friendly staff. I can't count how many different beers they have in stock. Food is very delicious and very big portions. The scenery is amazing. Overlooking the ocean. read more
