This place is a hidden gem. Delicious food and great service. The beer is brewed in house and absolutely amazing. Definitely recommend!

One of Ensenada's best "hole in the wall" spots. If you like good beer, you have to stop by over Wendlandt's taste room. Have some pints, and take a growler and some bottles for to go. My friends and I tried nearly all the beers in their menu. They were all delicious but my favorite was Perro Del Mar.

This spot rocks! It's a local delicious, hole in the wall looking space. You can't see it from the street. No windows, black doors. I found it on yelp and walked passed it twice looking for it. You can find it next to Starbucks. Tomorrow will walk around The drinks are more artisanal and G drinks here local ingredients, no fake Sh*+ and lots of great options including vegetarian!

One of the most popular and sheik breweries in town. Food and tacos were orgasmic. A must try for all.

Beer and food is great. The green ceviche tostada is awesome if you add the spicy paste to it. For beer we had their X Aniversario beer and it was delicious. On the service side I would say there is some opportunities as we had to often check on our food/ drink orders. But everyone on staff was very nice and quick to respond. I'd give five stars except for the fact that I had to check on my orders multiple times.

Slider game on point. Beer too!

Must try for any trip south. Solid small menu with good sliders and heathy beer selection, well thought out. Cool dark space with plenty of room in the back. I wish they had more chairs with backs, but I'm old. Decent wine selection all good but could use a few more local faves. But, these are details that will be worked out. Service 5 stars!! He was great and other than walking into the wrong bathroom I'd be a regular if I lived here!!! Cool joint!!!

Child under 18 allowed inside when our son was denied.

Terrible experience. My husband and I took our one year old in his stroller up the steps, just to be rudely denied because it is only ages 18 and up. I totally understood so we carried him back down just to see they let in a child obviously younger than 18. We felt very embarrassed. Our son was sleeping and very calm. The kid they had was able to walk and run. I feel it wasn't right how they treated us, on top of that the bartenders were extremely rude. We loved this place, however it seemed they were not there for customer service, but more so just a paycheck. We spoke to the manager about the other child and she stated she was just given orders to let him in. We were also informed kids weren't allowed, because they don't have a permit or license to have anyone under the age of 18. Not nice at all. Very degrading.

Our last brewery stop on our Tuk Tuk tour was at a renowned brewery, with an assortment of different beers and IPA's on tap. With names such as Pink Flaminga with raspberry (yes you just read that right), with a hint of tartness that cleanses the palate with a little sweet aftertaste that is rather refreshing. There are two levels to this brewery; one being the main bar area and upstairs being an open seating area. The upstairs area has an impressive view of the ocean and a local surfing spot, that challenges seasoned surfers to handle the oceans fury. All in all one can see why this particular brewery has won so many awards, and continues to push the boundaries of what is possible for a brewery. The clientele is local but they are more than welcome to share their knowledge with those willing to learn.

Hip spot in the main area of Ensenada to enjoy tasty local beer and food. We got there right when it opened at 6pm and it filled up within the hour. We ordered the truffle fries and the smoked tuna quesadilla. Both were delicious. Beers were good to. Their IPAs and Pale Ales were my favorites. Service was a little overwhelmed but would still recommend.

    ¡Fantastico!

Soooo, after visiting the other Wendlandt in El Sauzal and this one in Zona Centro, I can honestly say....that both are equally awesome! Each really have their own charm. However, the lighting and food options here are kind of more magnificent. Not only did we have a couple of flights and a couple of bottles of Red Flanders, but we also ate some great pulpo and tacos. Oh yeah, the Girl with a Balloon (Banksy style) on the fridge just added an extra chill vibe to the spot. I shall return!

The alcohol was disgusting. We sat at the bar, so for us service was impeccable. They accept cards which was a major plus. The restaurant is conveniently located not far from the cruise port, making it an easy walk from the ship. It was a nice open floorplan. The theme fit one of a mexican restaurant. The menu had a great variety of options, so everyone in our group was able to find something they enjoyed. The food was delicious, and the portions were satisfying. The drink selection was also impressive. They offer excellent margaritas, both blended and on the rocks, along with a variety of other alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages. We especially enjoyed trying the Mexican cola. What stood out most was the service. Our party was fairly large, but the staff was friendly, attentive, and welcoming. Despite our group's size, our food arrived surprisingly quickly. If you're visiting Ensenada on a cruise and looking for a local restaurant with good food, tasty drinks, friendly service, and a convenient location near the port, La Taberna de Ensenada is definitely worth a visit!

what an awesome little spot just off to the side of the street. it sits on the corner of the side…read moreroad to which we turn in to get to Casa Encinares B&B. It's an outdoor wooden shack, no doors. we noticed it because there was a sign that said "beer" and we saw lots of people there. our host at the B&B told us we must try it before we leave, so we did. as soon as we sat down at the bar, a big tall gentleman came to greet us. he spoke perfect english and made some awesome recommendations. BF had a couple of beers (cant remember what they were, but i believe it was local), and because i wasn't planning on drinking more (we just got done with a small winery tasting tour), but Chris recommended i try the cocktiel de guayaba, its a bourbon cocktail with guava! It was only 40 pesos and if the owner recommends me.....why would i refuse? we were super hungry so we wanted something light and Chris recommended the pulpo ceviche (100 pesos). My drink was ridiculously tasty as i am a huge guava fan and the bourbon balances the sweetness of the guava with the liquor. the pulpo (octopus) ceviche was wonderful and delicious with just the right portion and served with thin tortilla chips. Chris was so kind and chatted with us almost the entire time we were there. i HIGHLY recommend stopping by here for a quick drink and light bite even if you are here to explore the wines in this wine country. my only mistake was that we came here after having drank so much already from visiting all the wineries!
