Mid-morning on a Monday... no line and plenty of comfy seats to choose from.

You can't go to Italy without having an Italian Roast! This cute little coffee shop had plenty of seating for remote workers and students to buckle down and get work done. So the people watching was on point. The prices were average and it was a solid coffee.

Iced salted caramel latte

Tired of the typical Italian food, check out this place! They have great American style breakfast options. We got an iced salted caramel latte, caesar salad, American style pancakes with berries, side of bacon and scrambled eggs. Portion size was perfect, not overly big nor small. The latte was good, tasted more like a vanilla latte with a hint of caramel. The salad was good but towards the end it got a little salty because of the Parmesan cheese and bacon but overall a solid Caesar. Pancakes were nice and fluffy, not overly sweet, bacon was crispy and the scrambled eggs were well-seasoned and soft. Waitress and staff were really nice and accommodating.

Our little breakfast crew enjoyed our coffees and sandwiches. The ambience is very nice. Many people seems to be working and eating which gives a nice, relaxing vibe. The waitstaff was great. Gave their opinions when it seemed we had difficulty ordering and they were spot on. We couldn't find a place to sit at first, but they set us up with comfy chairs to wait until a table opened up about 10 minutes later. Great free Wi-Fi as well!!

Iced matcha strawberry latte with the Strawberry danish with sweet cream cheese.

iced strawberry matcha latte & the danish with sweet cream and strawberries is the most decadent and also light summer treat. staff at the pitti location is super friendly and the girl at the register holds down the fort and has mad eye pencil skills!! PERFECT WING! the iced vanilla latte and pan au chocolat are good here as well!

Americano (€8,00) rinfriscante

The nice part about Italy is that there seem to be cafes everywhere. DA (Artisinal Business) was located right outside our airBNB. After lunch and some sightseeing in Florence, mija & ITC wanted to shop. I just wanted to sit and have a refreshing cocktail. In this case I chose an Americano. Other popular ones in Italy are aperol spritzes or negronis. The drink was perfect on a hot day (92 F). It was simply nice to sit, relax and people watch. Regarding the ambiance, most seating is in the back, but there is some seating inside. There were a lot of SBUX types who simply wanted the wifi. Nonetheless, there were others who wanted something light to eat, cold to drink, or an afternoon coffee. The service was friendly & warm. I'm not a cafe person, so I forget an Americano is a coffee drink also. I had to specify "cocktail" - LOL. DA is a nice place to rest your feet after walking around all the sites in Florence nearby like Pitti Palace, Piazzo del Michelangelo and the Ponte Vedre.

A great trendy spot in the heart of town. We found this place as we strolled around to find a shop suitable to do some laptop work at. The coffee was great and my sandwich was phenomenal! Definitely a nice place to stop by for a snack, meal, or a coffee!

Came here for coffees and pastries. Both were just ok. Sat outside which was very nice and the service was good.

Pancakes are amazing!

The perfect spot to lounge and enjoy a meal or a nice cappuccino. It is so cute inside and the staff is extremely welcoming. It has a very nice upstairs and is great for a group. A must visit in Firenze!

Cappuccino & Pistachio croissant

Perfect cappuccino. A pistachio croissant that was light and flaky with a pistachio cream that was the right balance of light and rich.

Great retro coffee shop. It's similar to small American coffee places but uber cool vibes. Friendly staff and delicious coffee and pastries.

Offering both traditional and filled Sfogliatelle, not on par with Naples but nonetheless enjoyable, Torta di Riso fares well thanks to a delicate shell while a Ricotta Tart likens Basque Cheesecake thanks to a bit of char.

They have a dessert counter case that was amazing. We had a very nice meal here. I had the scallop appetizer as my main. It was very small-4scallops with raspberries as a garnish. It was fine for me though as I had been eating nonstop all day. They don't have a house wine(which is always the best bet in Italy) so we ordered a suggested bottle. The wine prices were higher than we are used to paying in Florence.
