Guy in bar who's very rude

First off , as soon as you walk in and start ordering , the guy taking the order , Indian looking guy , rude right away . He makes you feel pressured to order . I then went to make another order , I told him iced tea , he looks at me like I'm stupid and says , which iced tea there's a lot of different ones , in the US iced tea is a specific drink so I didn't know . He could have just explained how it works and not look at me or talk to me very sarcastically . Where I'm from it's disrespectful but I have to be polite no matter how rude someone is. The bathroom is very dirty. Has foul smell. Also no one is there to wipe down the tables when people finish so it was dirty. Food was not bad to be honest but the service and cleanliness could have been better . Italy offers the best in many things but I won't be coming back to this location. If this guy was not there I think we would have had a better experience without a doubt The same guy will be responding to this post by the way

Great stop for an afternoon coffee. Polite service. Quick. In the heart of Florence village.

Food and coffee were both excellent! Too bad we found this place the day we were leaving Florence. My husband had scrambled eggs with spinach & cheese and I had scrambled eggs with mushroom and cheese.

We went to La Milkeria due to the extensive breakfast options. Since we went early, we had plenty of seats inside and outside available. There was only one person working in the front and she was super nice and friendly. We ordered cappuccino, Blueberry pancakes (with a dollop of yogurt) and Mushroom and cheese scrambled eggs with toast. Everything was really well made and super tasty. You order inside and she'll call your name to pick up your order. She did bring out our meals. Please bring the dishes back inside as the place is self-service.

La Milkeria was a great place to recharge the batteries from the following night before a big day of exploring and adventuring around Florence. The employees were highly energetic, while the atmosphere was charming. We ended up ordering multiple espressos because we were having so much fun watching the bubbly entertainment from the counter employees. Essentially, they were dancing and lip-syncing to American pop songs and it made us grin from ear to ear. Along for the ride were high quality pastries filled with creme. The flavors had were subtle and light and perfect for a morning bite. The croissant itself also had wonderful texture. La Milkeria is definitely a solid balance of French techniques with an Italian twist. Very affordable, very tasty and very fun!

Stopped in on our last morning in Florence. Such a cute little cafe. Was happy to find iced coffee and was pleasantly surprised with how good it was! We also tried one of their fresh juices which was delicious as well. Staff was very friendly and attentive. Wish we would have found it sooner during our trip to try other things!

What a gem of a find!!! American breakfast served here a la carte. Pancakes, several choices of coffees, scrambled eggs, crepes, waffles, millshakes, bagel sandwiches, avocado toast, pastries, gelatos, cakes, cereals, cookies, brownies, chocolates, and all made to order, at any style you want. A must visit. Come when they open to avoid the crowds. Highly recommend!!

What a wonderful cosy Cafe! I loved the food here. We tried the Nutella crepe with ice cream, hot chocolate and Irish coffee. Everything was super delicious. The hot chocolate was sooo good and so was Irish coffee. They also have variety of souvenirs like mugs, pens, pencils etc that you can buy.

Le Vespe Cafe - Avocado, salmon and eggs were brilliant. They had a hint of orange or mango citrus, making for a wonderful experience.

A lovely American waitress came over and helped me.(I'm not saying she's lovely because she's American, she just was really friendly) She explained that the cook makes all the poached eggs in one big pot and can't specialize one for a customer. She said they could fry it medium well and that worked for me. The other waitress offered to fry the egg or scramble it but she just wasn't friendly, and she didn't give me all the choices of how I could get the egg fried. That really helped me make my choice. The egg's Benedict came with American pork bacon and not Canadian bacon. The hollandaise sauce was deliciousness, but they give you such a small amount. They need to double it. Another reviewer mentioned how good the green hot sauce was, so I tried it. It was spot on great!! I made sure every bite had the green sauce on it. I usually only like shredded hash browns but their breakfast potatoes were perfect. They weren't hard and had a good flavor. The restaurant was clean but very small. It had a nice relaxing feel. I love to try the food of the country I'm visiting, but after traveling for two weeks it was nice to have something I eat at home. The eggs Benedict was a treat. I had the hot amaretto coffee drink and that just hit the spot and made the waiting to be seated all worth it. The had many types of milk you can put in your coffee, for example, they have soy milk, oat milk, etc. I would definitely recommend this place and come back. Oh and the less than friendly waitress served my food to me with a smile, but she never smiled again and never accepted my thank you's no matter how much I said them. Word of advice don't have a sad face if they can't provide something the way you want it if the waitress is blond and Italian. That will not go over well. You're not allowed to be quietly disappointed.

We had the avocado, salmon eggs plate and the eggs benedict. Both were perfectly prepared and exactly what you would hope for in a top-tier cafe. I stopped by Gilli for the first time around 9pm on a Sunday night. The place stayed open night, which was very convenient especially since we've been having late dinners. I had the chance to enjoy a sit down in their outdoor patio. It's located right next to a piano bar and other busking performers when there wasn't entertainment at the bar next door. Ordering was interesting. You don't pay at the counter but rather at the corner register for everything to-go. On one of the nights when we grabbed a couple of drinks at Gilli, the server loaded my desserts order on a card that I redeemed to my waiter. Then my desserts were served to me a few moments later. So I had tried ricciarelli at another pasticceria down the street, but Gilli's were far more superior. The almond flavor was more prominent, the texture was much softer, and the powdered sugar wasn't broken. Loved it so much that I got boxes of it for myself and loved ones. I had the pleasure of trying all their "mignons" (mignardises) and was particularly fond of the lemon with pistachios, chocolate passion fruit, and coconut chocolate ones. That said, I always had to have ricciarelli among the little bites.
