First off , as soon as you walk in and start ordering , the guy taking the order , Indian looking guy , rude right away . He makes you feel pressured to order . I then went to make another order , I told him iced tea , he looks at me like I'm stupid and says , which iced tea there's a lot of different ones , in the US iced tea is a specific drink so I didn't know . He could have just explained how it works and not look at me or talk to me very sarcastically . Where I'm from it's disrespectful but I have to be polite no matter how rude someone is. The bathroom is very dirty. Has foul smell. Also no one is there to wipe down the tables when people finish so it was dirty. Food was not bad to be honest but the service and cleanliness could have been better . Italy offers the best in many things but I won't be coming back to this location. Lots of variety, and everything that I have tried so far has been pretty good. The coffee is not the BEST I've ever had, but definitely very tasty. The pastries are also delicious. We went to La Milkeria due to the extensive breakfast options. Since we went early, we had plenty of seats inside and outside available. There was only one person working in the front and she was super nice and friendly. We ordered cappuccino, Blueberry pancakes (with a dollop of yogurt) and Mushroom and cheese scrambled eggs with toast. Everything was really well made and super tasty. La Milkeria was a great place to recharge the batteries from the following night before a big day of exploring and adventuring around Florence. The employees were highly energetic, while the atmosphere was charming. We ended up ordering multiple espressos because we were having so much fun watching the bubbly entertainment from the counter employees. Essentially, they were dancing and lip-syncing to American pop songs and it made us grin from ear to ear. Along for the ride were high quality pastries filled with creme. The flavors had were subtle and light and perfect for a morning bite. The croissant itself also had wonderful texture. We stayed at an airbnb above this cafe, and often got espressos and cappucinos to go before starting our day. I especially liked that the male staff were pretty friendly - even helping me bring coffee to my family (Thanks Tommaso!). The female staff were fine but one got pretty bitchy on our 3rd visit, and I remember asking the girl to repeat what she said, she not only translated in English and repeated it three times in irritated exasperation. Okayyyy, I got it the first time. *Rolls eyes* I have no issues with their coffee, it is strong and their lattes and cappuccinos are adequately prepared. (You might want to just go for espresso at anytime of the day because it is only socially acceptable to order cappuccino and lattes during breakfast!) But their crepes are nothing spectacular, in fact, they are so lackluster that I would not pay €4-5 for them. At least serve them in larger quantities or sell them cheaper. Or add a ton of creme and fruit. Or employ nicer staff, LOL. Yeah that'll do it! oh, they sell La Milkeria merch here - pencils and buttons. They offer pastries, crepes, gelato, etc. My wife and I were trying to find a local place near where we were staying to have a light breakfast on a Sunday morning and we ended up here. We both ordered a Nutella crepe with a side of fruit along with coffee. The fruit was tasty and fresh and the crepe was delicious- thin and what we needed. The coffee was ok, nothing special. My biggest complaint is the space-It was very crowded, and we were lucky to find the last open table over near the wall. We had to climb over a bunch of people to get to it, but we made it. The tables are very close to one another, so it was hard to navigate. I wouldn't recommend if you want to have an intimate or private conversation. Our order was forgotten a few times and when it did come out we had to bring it back to get it fixed (they forgot the fruit in our nutella crepe). place is small and cramped and there's no real organized system for calling out orders. this increases the chance of accidentally grabbing someone else's order and vice versa. otherwise crepes were decent. the strawberries and pineapple paired well with the nutella. however kiwi was not ripe and therefore difficult to eat. read more

I went in at about two hoping to get a cup of coffee to wake myself up. We were the only ones in the store, and it was littered with unkept cups and plates, which seemed a little messy, but there was one person at the register. I ordered a Latte Macchiato. Much like the rest of Italy, I haven't had a bad cup of coffee yet, and it was pretty good. My gripe with this place wasn't just the messy late out and uncleared tables, but was with the server working there. He kept singing at the top of his lungs the entire time we were there, and likely even after we left. It was incredibly distracting, especially in combination with the background music. Additionally, the spoon given to me with my coffee was unwashed and stained with cappucino foam. Ew, no thanks. Definitely not a place I would stop at again. read more
