I have had my nails done for 2 weeks exactly today. My thumb nail has already broken and there are cracks in the rest of my nails. It can be cheaper than other nail shops surrounding it, but the work is rushed and not of the best quality. I just received the best pedicure ever! Vi was so attentive and didn't rush. I asked her to cut my nails short and SHE DID! It's the most time anyone has ever spent actually clipping and cleaning and pulling mail and skin from the sides. I will always ask for Vi! I'm giving 4 stars because the chair didn't seem to massage properly and they don't take appointments. They definitely stay busy, and there were a lot of people in and out. read more

Decided to stop by this business due to the one I wanted to use was busy I previously viewed the reviews but I wanted to do my own judgement.. let's pray I made the right decision. The young lady was quite friendly when I entered asking me can she help, what was I getting today, etc. She even told me her name "Lynn", I decided to get the Spa pedicure.... Overall this salon is fine if you are in a pinch, which I was. Pros: - quick and efficient - wide selection of colors - reasonable price (in comparison to everywhere else I've been prices are about the same) - my nails and toes look good and my nail tech listened to what I wanted and make my nails exactly how I wanted them. Cons: - saw a roach running around - my nail tech did not do the callus removal even though I asked for it - my eyebrow wax was done out in the salon in a chair and not in a more private area read more

I've recently relocated from New York and have been looking for a quality nail Salon . They are right by my house so from the reviews I read that we're displeasing I took a gamble on them anyway . Honestly - from start to finish it was a train wreck . If your employees are tired LET THEM REST ! There should be no reason 5 people are called to intervene in a pedicure because someone is to tired. One lady started my water and asked what color I wanted . I couldn't decide so she deep sighed and spoke to another male and he sat down in front of me and asked what kind of pedi did I want and what color . Still undecided I told him I'll let him know as soon as I find the style I wanted him to mimic but I chose the type pedicure I wanted.......the water was icy cold and I asked him for some heat and he informed me not until I chose a color . SERIOUSLY?!!!!! I asked him was he serious and he smiled and got up from the stool and walked to the back area. AFTER 20 minutes he comes back and tells another to service me . Still no heat added to the water . At this point I'm confused not confrontational. I was there as soon as they opened - well it was me and one other person there . But when a group of women walked in asking for pedicures - They told me to get up and move to the waiting area because I was undecided. I politely got up and left . Glad I didn't stay because I just saw recently where they assaulted a woman of color after she paid for her services and declined to sign the RECEIPT the way THEY wanted her to . I got GEL manicure and this is three days after I got the manicure.... the first time I got dip powder SNS gel and the file my nails too thin that they were sore until the next day. I have been going here for at least 4 years up until 3 months ago I was pretty happy with the quality of work. Well, until today. I came in for a pedicure. I had to wait, which is not a problem, but was taken after others had come in. Then I was switched to another person halfway through the pedicure. My granddaughter went with me and she had acrylic nails done. The shape was fine, but then she was switched to another person also. The nail polish was bumpy and surely didn't look like a $30.00 nail job. The prices have gone up, but NOT the quality of service. I am very surprised and dissapointed. I will have to find a new place to go now. Sad. I don't know what happened to them, but they lost me. I won't be back. read more

Took my daughter for a girl's day out yesterday. We both had our nails done; I needed a fill-in and she needed a full set. I've been to my fair share of nail salons and I'll be the first to tell you that for $85 (YES, $85) our nails looked like straight trash. So we're back at our old (but oh so trustworthy) nail salon. Since moving here for years ago from Atlanta I really wanted to find a nice salon here locally when not traveling to Atlanta to my "go to Salon" Unfortunately this salon is not it for me. I've tried them several times and have had worse experiences then good. What recently did it for me was after going to this salon because was pretty desperate and wasn't traveling to Atl any time soon .. Anyway I clearly explained and showed pictures of the shape I wanted (coffin shape) I was in a rush or I would have stayed and had someone else completely redo them .. From the moment I told them I only wanted a polish change I got an attitude. I guess since it would only be $5 they couldn't be bothered. I even had my own nail polish; therefore, there was basically no cost to the salon. Now instead of having a long term customer who would go in for pedi's and various mani's they have one less customer. The man giving me & my cousin our manicures didn't listen at all. We showed him a picture of exactly what we wanted & I still had to explain what color was needed! He even seemed upset when I told him that we needed a darker shade than the one he picked! He charged us extra for services that were clearly displayed inside the salon! I will preface this by saying that I do not get my nails done often and when I do it's for a special occasion. I am not too keen on the social cues while at a salon because I go maybe 5 times a year. I got a gift certificate for this salon so I went here with a friend. The staff was a little pushy and standoffish (but then again, most places around LaGrange have this atmosphere) but they got the job done and I was happy with the result the first time. The second time I came, I got a gel manicure just like the first time. The manicurist would get frustrated with me when I didn't know where to put my hands or when to take them out of the machine to dry the gel. As someone who rarely goes to salons I don't know what their grunting and pointing means and it made me feel like I was awkward and doing something wrong. She rushed through my manicure and then as my nails were on the final section, she took out her own file and clippers and starting doing her own nails in front of me. One of her fingernail clippings HIT ME IN THE FACE. I'm not exaggerating. Shortly after he finger nail incident, another client came in that I was assuming was one of her regulars and she didn't even finish my manicure (no hand massage or cuticle oil or lotion). I was just told to wash my hands and pay. I got the exact same type of manicure as the previous time so I knew what it entailed. After that horrifying experience and the general uncleanliness and rudeness, I will not be returning. read more
