She was recommended by my other daughter. My granddaughter's hair was highlighted in a very unattractive red color. Other kids were making fun of her. Then, when it came to my hair. She did not listen to how I wanted my hair highlighted and styled. She did not highlight the color I wanted. My hair was way shorter than my daughter, and I was told it to be 85.00. I was charged an additional 45.00. She does not have prices up. Apparently, she charges whatever she wants. She also has a dog running around her shop. This dog growled at my daughter. While I was having my hair shampoo and toner on this dog, it lay on my chest. She never once told this dog to get off of me. This is very unprofessional in this business to have an animal interact with customers. This was the worst experience I ever had. To top it off, my daughter was 35 weeks pregnant. I do not recommend this shop unless you want your hair butchered.

It's school season, but somehow I found a back to back appt with the amazing Tricia for me & my 14yr old stepson, but don't be discouraged if your time isn't available, it's worth the wait. We w're in desperate need of a haircut/makeover. The summer had not been kind to our hair. We were pleasantly greeted by Jess (I'm sorry if I got that wrong), who offered coffee, tea or water. They had snacks (good snacks too) & wifi password at the ready. Kid got his hair chopped first & I mean chopped, he was a new person. He was comfortable & communicative with Tricia, which, teenager, says a lot! Go just based on that. He was thrilled with his haircut, an honest ear to ear smile. Tricia took her time, did Exactly what he asked & gave him suggestions & some direction. Next, me, dry, brittle, middle-aged hair, that's sad, flat, grey, & lifeless (life lol). I spewed out all the things I hated about my hair & what I wanted, "please help me". Tricia helped me. I love my cut. She listened and suggested, but never pressured. The salon was clean & organized. The other stylists were just as helpful & pleasant. I was comfortable there. The price is comparable to other salons in the area, if anything, a bit less expensive then I was expecting for 2 cuts, shampoo & style. Please do not forget to tip. This should not be an uncomfortable topic. We live in the US, we tip to show our appreciation & gratitude. These folks have over-head, but still need a living wage, their time is worth something just as much as yours. I've been wanting to get my locs crocheted since I could not do it myself. I started and have self…read moremaintained my own locs. I scheduled my appointment here and Lolita did an amazing job on my hair. From the wash to style, everything was perfect. I wasn't planning on getting a style and while she told me that my locs were healthy, she also explained that I needed to do a protective style to further protect my roots. My hair grows away from my locs, which is why I got the crotchet maintenance. I kept the 2 strand twists in for 3 weeks and just took them down to hopefully rock the twist out for 2 weeks. This will be the longest I have gone without washing my locs because I wash them 1-2 times per week. I will be returning to Lolita for my loc maintenance.
