I had an amazing experience! The instructors are all very friendly and easy going. The equipment is clean and well maintained. And the instructions they give you are clear and concise. I thought it might be a more difficult process to learn, but they made it very easy. There was even a child around 10 years old in our group and he had no problem snorkeling and diving.
The experience actually started out pretty badly for me because I got seasick, which was a huge surprise to me since I almost never get motion sickness. I thought for sure the trip was going to be a bust. However, one of the instructors, Guillermo, completely turned it around for me. Guillermo was just perfect-- very focused on people's well being, knowledgeable, and personable. When I was diving with him, I had some moments where I started to feel nervous being so deep, but he was incredibly attentive and I felt completely safe in his hands. I didn't get see any turtles when I dove, but a couple people in my group did. Nonetheless, I wasn't even disappointed since I got to see so many fish and even a little nudibranch-- that was the highlight for me. I'm left with wonderful memories and amazing photos.
