The next morning Bill took one look at my head and could tell me which side I slept on, where he sees me picking my ends the most and told me exactly where my hair was thinning - you can't get anything by him. He explained the why behind everything he recommended and I knew I was in capable hands. I do think I could have been clearer on exactly what I was looking for, as I can be a bit particular having thick, courser hair. I expressed concern about a couple framing pieces and he immediately knew what to do, he also accomated a last minute request for bangs. Afterwards he even offered to partially reimburse me if I wasn't satisfied but when I tell you I LOVED the end result... Please accept the compensation for your time! It's tough to find a hairdresser that meets your needs after forming that bond for so many years, so I have only gotten my hair done twice since moving here. Once was at Studio B which was alright but I really wanted to change over to a more natural approach so I was referred to Kathy by a friend. I'm ever so happy with my choice as Kathy went above and beyond to not only make me feel heard, she has a way with communication that goes beyond words. I was there for a couple hrs but the time just flew by, and we had the most fantastic flow of conversation. She's very well traveled and her mind is a library full of so much knowledge and adventures. I could of easily just fell asleep while she did my hair as she never pushed me for conversation, so please be aware that she's not pushy in the least. The end result was leaving with beautifully more natural looking hair that didn't smell of heavy chemicals and a delightful variety of things to read, learn and ponder on. All in all, I can't recommend her enough. She's kind and mindful as well as very well priced. I have now found my new stylist!

Usually I am sad when I cut my hair and I will admit I am was a little at first, but Qi did such a great job that it didn't take long for me to be absolutely obsessed and in love with my hair :) Her shop is really cute, intimate, and has really amazing energy. Looking forward to coming back soon for a new years trim!
