They were advertising a sale, offering half a scoop for free and $40 for a full scoop of brown mulch. I ordered 10 full-priced and 10 sale-priced scoops. Kelvin refused to honor the sale price or the receipt my contractor provided, which clearly stated the quantity and price of the items I purchased. He accused me of attempting to deceive him. This was an unusual situation. The company advertised the sale, and I sent him a text message with the receipt and a screenshot of their website. He stated that he would refund the money, but he subsequently posted a refund for $0.01. As other reviews have indicated, the product is of high quality, but the customer service is poor. Kelvin is challenging to communicate with and lacks reasonableness. Despite Kelvin's difficult behavior, the mulch was of excellent quality and the most cost-effective option I could find. Therefore, I recommend purchasing the product. While it is of good quality, it is advisable to avoid using Kelvin's services. read more

I received an invoice prior to the job provided a complete breakdown...which I have never received before for yard work. All I can say is that my backyard looks amazing. I submitted an online request form for landscaping services on April 27. That evening I received a call from Kelvin regarding my needs and the services they offer. He came out the next day to assess my yard, plants, etc, and by April 29 my yard was completely re-done and beautiful. Kelvin's work is good, he keeps the grass looking good HOWEVER...his level of professionalism is terrible. Multiple times he has come to do additional yard work without letting us know and then would send an invoice. When we asked him to let us know prior to do any additional work his response was "y'all got it" to imply we have money. The last time he did some work (early March 2020) again without letting us know ahead of time he sent us a $200 plus bill (we live in a townhouse). We asked for an itemized receipt and he has yet to respond or come back to cut the grass. We've called several times and texted no response. I called from another number and he answered...not to mention he's on his IG doing flips in Lowe's. I asked him straight out if he was ignoring us and if we needed to find another landscaper. He said "no I'm not ignoring you i had to get a new phone" along with some other BS as to why he hasn't come cut the grass and why we haven't heard from him in 2 months. It's now May 30, 2020 and we've yet to hear back from him. As a business owner he could have said "i don't do itemized receipt please find another landscaper. I was going through the lesser comments and the consensus is this landscaper does good work, but the level of professionalism is lacking. Communication does not exist with this guy. I hired them to cut my grass. Everything went well until fall arrived & the leaves started falling. I received a cash app request for a little extra. On the cash app request there was a note that read, "leaves". We didn't discuss that prior to, but okay. It was a very small amount. Subsequently my bill continued to increase. I honestly didn't mind paying the money. I just wanted to know what I was paying for, but I could never get the owner to return my calls. They also stopped coming out. ZERO, ZERO, ZERO. My coworker has been using Divine Landscaping forever. I called and told him what I wanted. He drew up a design and sent it to me. I liked what I saw so I paid him online. He came and did the job and it looked great however, the hydrangea never bloomed. Also, he was supposed to dig up ALL the hosta up from previous garden, but the hosta came back. I have been calling Kelvin since May to come and dig the hostas up. He has promised he is in my area on Tuesdays. Never showed up. It is now August and I still have hostas. If I could give this unprofessional company zero stars I would. My neighbor used their service and appeared to do a decent job. I called and spoke to the Company owner a gentleman by the name of Kelvin. I was told they would come by in the evening and they never showed up. No follow up phone call no email nothing. I called them the following week and tried to reschedule and they profusely apologize and assured me they would come by Sunday Afternoon. Once again they didn't show up and did not call. If I could give this company no stars, I would. They're very unprofessional. I had to rescheduled my gutter cleaning twice. The first time they showed up with insufficient materials. I was contact with a new date, and they didn't show or call. I tried calling both phone numbers and emailing; however both voicemails were full and no one every answered. I am still waiting for a call back at least apologizing for the inconvenience and standing me up.
