So I took my car to Divine Sounds on Dale Mabry to get my windshield and two front windows tinted and this how I picked it up. The 1st picture shows the windshield wasn't fully tinted and the 2nd and 3rd shows the passenger side carpet pulled down. I spoke to Pedro the shop manager about the tint and he told me that I had pay $50 more to fix their fuck up. After he already changed the phone quote that I was given. Phone quote was $125 to tint the full windshield and two front windows on Monday, today when I got their the price change to $150. I'm so fuckn pissed My car is only a week old, 2019 Nissan Murano Platinum. This is total BS !!! read more

Had a good experience getting 2 12 inch subwoofers, 2 amps and better front speakers/tweeters installed into my Ram 1500. Overall was $1300 but was good quality speakers and good installation. Box had a small vibrating issue but I took it to the shop again, Pedro and his team fixed it within an hour. Now it sounds incredible for the little amount of airspace is in the box. I do wish there was more clear communication/explanation on what would be best for what sound you're looking for/what would sound best in your vehicle but that's not a big problem. It seems in the recent years this establishment has become more and more greed fueled. I understand inflation and good quality work is worth the money. I have no problem paying! Unfortunately being turned away because I brought my own BRAND NEW equipment to be installed there and long story short since I had not spent hundreds of dollars purchasing their speakers and amps, installing my stuff just isn't "worth it" to them. It's sad because I used to hold this place to very high standards but after being told my setup will not function correctly, it'll damage things or flat out "too much work". I went to another location with the same equipment and was installed with no issues! Sad to know a customer is only valued by how much they spend versus wanting quality work. I'll take my money elsewhere and not be taken advantage of. To any other new comers please get a second opinion before you jump at the first thing they tell you because honesty is NOT THEIR POLICY. They did such a terrible job , they changed the actual price of what was supposed to be an easy speaker install was 200 then they changed it to 300 and then they said my speakers didn't work and I needed a new stereo system plus speakers and it would cost me 1,400 . They tried to sell me there cheap speakers and stereo to pocket more money a friend of mine and I installed the speakers I previously bought and they worked what was wrong with my car was the after market AMP it had which was broken once we disconnected the aftermarket amp the factory stereo amp was just fine and I was once again able to hear music and it all cost me zero dollars to do thanks to the help of my friend they also tried charging me 75 for the check up which as you can tell they didn't really check my car because they didn't know what the problem was. The place also smelled like weed and they kept changing the times of when they could do a check up to see the car initially. They are unreliable by far worst store I've ever gone to please save youre money and go somewhere else. read more

Sure, it can be a little cheaper at Best Buy, but if you want the best look no further. These guys KNOW car audio. They did a custom system on my Mercedes R350 including a custom made faceplate that matched the interior perfectly. On window tint they use quality Llumar film with a lifetime warranty. After receiving 2 great tint jobs by divine sounds in the past, I expected nothing but professionalism & courtesy being a 3rd time repeat customer. That being said, the 3rd time around was so NOT the case. a BIG thumbs down after my last experience & i will never be coming back here again NOR recommending any one else in the near future. From the get go, I felt like I was being HOSED out of my money on a simple tint job in which I was being hit with additional little charges tacked on! When i got there i wasn't sure of the tint degree that i had gotten exactly 1 year ago on another car of mines so when I asked if they could look it up in the system, Aaron the sales rep said he could not? STRIKE 1 When I asked if they could leave the tint on the 3rd brake light (which they had done for me on my previous 2 cars), he stated that for the type of car I had, it required additional work on my car to install & that it would be an additional $30! Get the heck outta here ... STRIKE 2 The sales rep even had the audacity to argue with me that their price was the cheapest around town for a tint on my type of car. As soon as i stormed out of there in disgust, I immediately called a neighboring tint shop who was able to squeeze me in that very same day with not even a mention of additional fees for the 3rd brake light tint, and even put on a much higher quality Suntek Carbon tint than the Llumar tint given by Divine Sounds. STRIKE 3 Funny thing is the previous times i got my last tint job, i also dealt with the same sales person. perhaps he was having a VERY bad day but that's no reason to make a paying customer feel like hes being taken. Brought my 2018 Honda car in September and went to dealership Friday to get my 5th oil change and they said the maitance light will not go off because of the stereo install, went back to Divine sound and the guy goes the dealership always say that? I'm like I've had three oil changes before this stereo install and no issues why is it an issue now. Was going to get a starter from there but I'd rather spend the xtra at the dealership ! The whole process took about an hour and I was able to get an appointment with them that day. Customer service was very friendly. They have wifi and a small lobby with a TV if you plan to wait for your vehicle. All in all, very good place. Next time I will see how good they do a navigation system in my car. Would recommend. Update: Just had them install front door speakers in my car. Again, their service is outstanding. Even though it took almost 2 hours, I was greatly entertained with TV and free WiFi. Things change over time and usually not for the better. We have gotten 2 separate window tint jobs done here in the past 6 months, both were unacceptable. The first had a scratch in the tint 2 inches long. Called to tell them about it the next day and they said that it was "impossible" that they had done it during installation. The second job was done this morning and there was a huge scratch probably 12" long on the tint as the truck came out of their shop. They re-did that window and it was acceptable, but only after they said it must have been done previously with a seatbelt. What?? The truck is brand new and the scratch was NOT on the glass, but only on the tint that they had just installed 2 minutes ago. And this is coming from the owner, not just an employee. Then we get the truck home and find out there are about 30 fairly large dirt and dust particles under the tint on the driver side window. One of them is a quarter inch long. Completely unacceptable to have that much crap under the tint However, we're not going to go back and have them fix it because we don't trust them to not screw up something else while "fixing it". So, this afternoon my husband is going to another shop to have it stripped and redone at our expense. We have been going to Divine Sounds for over 25 years, but we will never ever go back. Ever. They just don't care about doing a good job for their for their customers anymore. read more

I had bought a used car with the back window tinted and eventually the tint started to deteriorate so that I had trouble seeing with my rear view mirror. I needed the tint removed. The work had to be done very slowly and carefully to keep from breaking the de-fogging electrical lines on the rear window. I went to Divine Sounds and was told to come back the next morning to give them enough time to do the work. I returned first thing the next morning and dropped the car off. I took a taxi back home. Even though I was on vacation, this pretty much confined me to my home. At 3:30 pm, having not heard from them all day, I called to see how it was going and was told that my car was still where I had parked it but that they were about to move it in to do the work. I called a cab and got there by 4:30 pm. I could see that my car was still where I had parked it. They were closing at 5 pm. I went in and they told me that they would move my car in and do the work in the remaining 30 minutes. I said okay and went to sit down in their waiting area, but began to have misgivings. No one could do the job carefully in the last few minutes of the day and I really didn't want those de-fogging lines broken. I went back to them and told them to just give me my car back. I later took the car somewhere else that did a beautiful job. Divine Sounds had had my car all day long, while I was confined to my house on my vacation, and had done nothing. read more

Super satisfied with the results, tint is a must especially in Tampa's summer sun, unless you like a tan on your left arm from driving. I tore my 350Z's dash apart to install a new JVC hu. I got it apart just fine. Then the wiring nightmare began, and l knew this install was above my pay grade. So l drove to Divine Sound, walked in, was welcomed and asked how they could help me. My reply was simple: install my head unit. They looked the car over, asked what l bought, then said ok. I asked when they might install it. Right now! I was floored, and said yes! After watching TV in their well appointed waiting area, he comes in and says there's a problem. My heart sank. He explains that what l bought was close, but not a great fit, even with the install kit that l paid extra for. He goes on to say that the old school way of install will be employed. No problem! Yay! I thought that while l was there I'd ask about tinting my windows. He says no problem, how dark would you like it? I told him as dark as was legal. Again, no problem it'll take another hour. I left there having been shown how to use my new head unit, and my windows were tinted! This was all at about the cost of a tint job from the guys down the road! New radio, tinted windows, yeah!
