Finally after five tries, my agent got AGN on the phone, and the very rude representative at AGN said, "We are way too booked up right now to take any new jobs, please stop calling us." Then they again hung up. The next morning, I received a text from AGN Glass LLC, "AGN has received your glass claim and would like to schedule an appointment, please call us. So I did and told them about my experience. Angela could not have been nicer and more apologetic, but too little, too late. No problem, AGN, if you don't want customers, that's fine with me. I went with Bishop Auto Glass and they have done a fabulous job, very polite, professional, and most of all, they want my business. Seems they like customers. Total Epic Fail. Where do I begin? I called on a Saturday last minute after seeing the reviews and was excited to…read moreget my brand new Wagoneer tinted. The owner was very friendly and got me in right away. As I arrived, I see a woman who was expecting me and let's just say she was drugged out on something but I didn't find it my business to say anything and counted on the reviews to speak for itself. Well first mistake was not reading every detail of the reviews. Most of the high rated reviews are for detailing NOT window tint. As the lady was cutting my tint she was moving at lightning speed (clearly whatever drugs she had) I even mentioned "wow you're quick" her response was she "had a lot of pop that morning". As she was taking the roll of tint to cut I noticed the box said carbon. I paid and asked for ceramic for the quality and due to the Florida heat. After she was done I noticed right away (based off prior experience) that this was a shitty job. There were lint bubbles and other areas of bubbling. I called and spoke to Percy and he stated it was normal and to bring back after 5 days if it still there. Well I begin to notice in the daylight that my windshield strip was cut unevenly. The right side of my car had a harsh line where you could see the shitty cut not to mention the bubbles. I then noticed the scratches on the film, and my back third row windows literally was peeling off. Not just the bubbles but actually coming off and felt like aluminum. I called this morning to explain I'm not satisfied and after making one attempt to go back to the shop and no one being there I just want my money back and I will even pay someone else to take off the tint and get it done again. The owner said "he doesn't do refunds". I then asked how he expects me to bring my car back again (as if people don't have jobs) for the same woman "who he mentioned is his only tinter" to do another shot job. He also tried convincing me that the box says carbon but it's actually ceramic. He said I could ask his manufacturer. Bottom line, DO NOT TINT HERE. Not only is it a shottt job, they upcharge you for higher quality products while using the shitty quality products. Not to mention he likes you to pay cash and won't charge you taxes (illegal) If anyone else has had issues here please email me markymarkbrands@gmail.com and I will assist in forward your experience and assisting you file a proper claim with the county and state so they are aware of this business. He was also very knowledgeable and helpful when I had to make the decision on what tinting to pick for my car. Tinted all 4 windows at a reasonable price, given the great results I received. The entire process was done in a timely manner, and I was able to patiently wait in their cool room while I watched tv. I love how I received lifetime warranty for the tint as well. My car looks beautiful now and feels much cooler . Importantly, a month later their is no bubbles or streaks; only a smooth finish. I contacted Tint Studio a few weeks ago to inquire about a quote and/or replacing film that was bubbling on the back of my car window. During the call, I think I was speaking to the owner, he was friendly and I was quoted a different price from what I was charged today. When I arrived at the shop this morning, the customer service was lacking a lot. Granted, I arrived a little behind schedule because my GPS was off with the address. The man in the shop was assisting another customer (which was fine) therefore I patiently waited until he was available. When he got to me, he appeared annoyed didn't really greet or reiterate what was being done to my car. Just asked for my keys, confirmed phone number and said he would call when he's finished. When I arrived to pay and pick up my car, the total was provided and I noticed the bill was $57.89 more. I brought the price increase to his attention and his response was it's due to the taxes in FL. I guess I looked slow or didn't look like a person who can do simple math but this increase was not due to FL taxes. After looking at the receipt closely, I was also charged a $7.10 non cash adjustment fee. It would've taken 1-2 minutes to give a heads up on this fee because I could've went to an ATM and got cash. I didn't have the time on my busy schedule to waste or go back and forth so I paid my bill and left. As a customer, it wasn't fair business to provide a quote that was not applicable the day of service or communicate with me about changed prices. Enjoy the extra funds, I have no plans to refer nor do business here again. UPDATE: Thank you for your response. I don't have any issue with paying sales tax to any business and as a entrepreneur myself I'm well aware of "business practices". My message directly addresses two main components that I had issues with, 1) a quoted price that was provided a few weeks ago that was different in the final bill and 2) the lacking customer service experienced during the process. I'm accustomed to final billings being broken down (i.e. price quoted + fees + taxes). The price of $120.00 that was initially quoted to me a few weeks ago and the 8% - 9% tax that the guy informed today was your FL sales tax. All together, the bill would've been roughly around $130.00, additional fees would have brought the final bill to approximately $145.00. The breakdown for the bill today includes $39.95 extra from the original price quoted, $5.95 shop fee (No problem with this fee), $11.99 (No problem with this sales tax fee) and $7.10 non cash adjustment fee (I have a problem with this fee since it was failed to be mention prior or during the consultation process.) Honest communication is always the key if that's what your business is based on (word for word) and it never hurt any employer who is dealing with customers to have an upbeat and positive energy. ALPHATINTS was the first to reply via Yelp Messenger. I communicated with Marcos, whom explained what service ALPHATINTS provided and the prices. I was able to have the tiny installed Monday morning. ALPHATINTS is a family run business. The shop is clean and the waiting area even serves cold beverages. Marcos is the owner/installer which means he pays attention to detail.
