I'm a tan junkie- real sun, tanning booth, airbrush - u name it. I've lived in Miami, NYC, phila and a few other big cities and have had my fair share of tanning experiences. NOTHING compares to the skilled master artist Wendy of Divine Sunless Tanning. Texted her at noon, she was at my condo by 4. Immediately felt comfortable and relaxed- stripped down to my skins and hopped in my shower -- eager much?! Wendy asked me what look I was going for i.e. Super bronzed or slightly sunkissed or somewhere in between... Told her I wanted to look like I've been spending my summer on the beach yet natural and not too too tan. Well... 20 minutes later - I stepped out of the tub, looked in the mirror and absolutely ADORED my new look. So real - so gorgeous - and simply flawless! On top of that, there was no icky chemically induced odor that usually (at least from all of my experiences) comes along with the process. So while I was air drying, Wendy rinsed and tidied up the tub and packed up her kit and went on her merry way. So effortless and fun too! I'm a poor planner and usually am scrambling last minute to get an appointment. She is quick to respond and has come to my home several times to tan me up. She's careful with the color and never overdoes it. Unlike other spray tans I've had, I've never been left with splotches, streaks of inconsistencies. As I understand it, all her products are organic/ natural. She also has great recommendations about making the tan last. With freezing, rainy weather outside, I wanted a natural looking tan glow for a little boost before the holidays. I found Wendy via yelp, and she was so responsive and easy to communicate with over the phone and text. With only a day's notice, Wendy was able to make time in her schedule for a house call to airbrush tan me, my sister, and my mother. She was incredibly quick and efficient in setting up her pop-up tent and airbrush materials; I was not surprised to learn that she has been a pro at this for over 10 years. We set up in the garage and she walked us through which eco-friendly formula would be best for each of our skin tones. She is very friendly, knowledgeable, and professional. For me and my mom, she recommended a natural golden tone glow formula that develops in 8-10 hours. She was insistent about keeping our tan looking natural and not freakishly dark, which is what I had gotten used to when doing spray tan booths in the past. As she said, no one should be able to tell you got a tan, you should just look naturally gorgeous. When my tan developed 8 hours later, it looked amazing! No muddy brown or yellowy tones, just a golden glow that was exactly how my skin would normally look if I had built up a perfect summer tan--- but without the skin damage! I was such a fan of Wendy's service, that I even called her up later in the week to come in for another light spray to prolong the glow. :) She is fantastic and I am already highly recommending her to all my friends! Divine Sunless Tanning was recommended to me by a friend of a friend. And since, I had my wedding coming up, I booked an appointment with Wendy two months before the wedding event. Booking an appointment with Wendy was very easy - on the day of, she was running fifteen minutes late but she sent me a text and communicated that to me, which I was appreciative of. I felt very comfortable with her during the entire spraying process, and she spent over ten minutes talking to me about bathing, exfoliating, and my entire skin care regime. She was immediately responsive, and to my surprise, actually fit me in the day before New Years Eve.
