This time it was my father in law, who passed away on 8/14/2023. Because of Mike's attention to detail and the willingness to provide information many funeral services do not, we were able to give my father in law a send off we may not have been able to with anyone else. From the moment we notified him of his passing to his thorough arrangements and, once again, our ability to reach him at all times during the process makes this a business that we want to promote. We would also like to thank Sonya at the VA National Cemetery in Salisbury, NC, the honor guards from Seymour Johnson Air Force Base in Goldsboro, NC and the Davidson County unit who provided the gun and TAPS salute for their participation in his ceremony and for Mike himself, who provided a beautiful prayer at the end of the service...that's the total attention to details that we appreciated and is the reason we returned to Good Samaritan again. They took care of our father's cremation and final wishes in January 2022, and most recently, our mother's in October 2025. From the very beginning, they were extremely kind, understanding, and attentive to every detail with such care and love. Both Keshia and Tish were incredibly supportive throughout the entire process. They gave us time and space to grieve before taking our parents into their care, and the gentlemen who came to our home handled everything with dignity, sensitivity, and respect. They have an inside chapel mausoleum that is beautiful. The chapel is large with pews like you would see in a church. The back wall is completely made of stained glass. They also have an outside mausoleum. They offer a neat "flower placement program" where they will place a silk floral arrangement on your loved one's grave either once or on a regular basis. Also, if you are looking for a grave and can't find it just go to the office. The office will print you a small map of the section the grave is located and mark the space so you can find it. The staff is very friendly. The cemetery is very well maintained. They also have several columbarium areas within the cemetery for cremated remains. If you are looking to purchase a cemetery space this is best cemetery around to do so.
