"You're family now" was Mike Costigan's comment to our family on Friday, 9/15/2023 as we thanked him for, once again, providing compassionate as well as the above and beyond service we remembered him for after he took care of my mother in law in 2020. This time it was my father in law, who passed away on 8/14/2023. Because of Mike's attention to detail and the willingness to provide information many funeral services do not, we were able to give my father in law a send off we may not have been able to with anyone else. From the moment we notified him of his passing to his thorough arrangements and, once again, our ability to reach him at all times during the process makes this a business that we want to promote. We would also like to thank Sonya at the VA National Cemetery in Salisbury, NC, the honor guards from Seymour Johnson Air Force Base in Goldsboro, NC and the Davidson County unit who provided the gun and TAPS salute for their participation in his ceremony and for Mike himself, who provided a beautiful prayer at the end of the service...that's the total attention to details that we appreciated and is the reason we returned to Good Samaritan again.
