Upon being seated we were warned that the wait times for drinks were 20 minutes and longer for the food to arrive so that was disappointing that they seemingly were short staffed knowing they would be busy for the concert. We ordered the Blackened chicken and one of the burgers. Both were absolutely excellent and I'm not really a fan of fries but they were about as good as I've ever had. There is a beautiful outdoor seating area and the main dining rooms atmosphere is really something. Next time we are in Sioux City we would love to give Main & Abbey another shot.

Food was delicious, don't get hung up on something you want ahead of time after seeing photos of the menu though as they change dishes often however I'm confident you'll find something you enjoy! Our Uber back to the hotel wasn't filling so the owner offered to drive us on his way home but thankfully we managed to eventually get a taxi. Great place, worth a visit for sure.

Beers - nice menu from IPAs to stouts and porters and lagers and Czech and Japanese rice- I mean. Sizes are the bests 3 oz, 6 oz, 10 oz, 16 oz so try em all- we made a good dent on the menu! I love their porch area at the top of the restaurant. Though I was taking my order to go I wanted to eat some wings and fries before class and they had no problem with letting me be in the dining room and even brought over some silverware. The beer is clearly the star here, and the menu has plenty of good options to go with it. Everything came out fresh, and our server was attentive throughout the visit. My only note would be that if you are going to a place known for beer, it may be best to stick with what they do best rather than ordering a martini. That one was probably on me! Overall, Lazlo's is a great spot for good food, good beer, and a laid-back Omaha meal. We would definitely go back.

All the classic dishes like the lavosh, the prime rib enchiladas, the voodoo, chicken, etc. are still on the menu. On the whole, our table enjoyed the meals we got. That said there were a couple little notes I have. I've said it before, but the way they plate salads is impractical here. They serve side salads on small glass plates. Of course I appreciate the effort to make it a nice sized salad and fill up the plate, but with no overhang and no depth because it's not a bowl, it makes it really difficult to stir around without making a big mess. They don't serve the salads tossed, so this continues to be an issue for me as a diner. The other thing I noticed is that the building itself definitely needs a little TLC. Everything just looks a bit worn... in particular the walls, the baseboards, places where there's wear and tear, and it just doesn't look as crisp or as modern or updated as it could.
