It also wasn't super busy when we came, so that helped. I don't really like beer, so for me it's tough to find something at breweries. They did have a pretty decent snack menu. Nestled in Downtown Woodbine it has the feel of a local small town Pub. I arrived on a Wednesday evening after opening, and before long there were six of us in the bar seats, talking Royals baseball and college football, while the bar keep was getting a new recipe for killer Bloody Marys from a patron. I had a flight of their beers, their IPA, Oktoberfest, Spiced Pumpkin and their Porter. The Porter and IPA were both above average, the Porter was actually very good! I did notice they served spent grain pizzas, but they didn't look like they needed trying. Service was a bit confusing... I had to repeat my order 3 times before our waitress understood me. Drinks stayed empty for long periods of time, and she just seemed very pulled in multiple directions. Got the burger, and fries. Not usually a fan of crinkle fries, but these were nice and crispy!

From food truck rallys, to date nights, and even a visit from santa claus, this is one of my favorite locations. It's really not next to anything like the Benson or Little Bohemia spots, but it does have ample parking. It's more a of a sqaure vs rectangle/shotgun layout. We came here for a santa visit last year and spent the whole day enjoying christmas movies, and even a little football. I tried two different flights while there. That's really my favorite way to brewery, is to sample it all. in their "party room" adjoined to the tasting room, someone was selling hot meals and on a cold winter day, it was perfect!
