I think JCP and the sewing shop may be the strongest parts right now and, of course, Sarku Japan is still out here thriving. Overall, I'm hopeful for Oakview, you can see the effort, but it'll be tough to find its footing with Village Pointe, not far away, and the Westroads trending in the right direction.

This is my local shopping mall that I've grown up to enjoy. With stores and places coming and going…read moreover the years, the floors and other fixtures are so outdated that they look like they're from the 70s. It's time they decided to gut this shopping mall and put in some new flooring and other fixtures for a place that's nearly 45 years old. The floor tiles have been showing signs of age and not up to today's standards. Many other shopping malls across the country have had them ripped out and redone over the years, this one is unfortunately off the radar. This should be next on the list for renovation projects.

The service was fast and the noise was quite loud because it was really busy inside the restaurant the place had a lot of options to pick different foods from. I tried new things. The eggroll was gross. I don't recommend the eggrolls. It was gross other than that, I had a first time experience that was really good and that was fun and entertaining. I do recommend going back to this restaurant in the future because it was cheap and good and delicious.

I think the food and shopping scene are a good match for this area--higher end places focused on quality, and with higher price points to match the west Omaha/Elkhorn clientele. There is also a strong focus on athletic stores--probably because Scheels draws that crowd here. Parking is always an issue so plan accordingly! There are several lots, but you will often find yourself driving around for a few minutes and walking a bit more, so plan ahead. All in all the variety of stores makes for a fun outdoor shopping day, and there are plenty of quick or fancy dine in spots to choose from as you fuel up in between stores!

Most importantly to me they offer Spicy Orange Chicken that is actually spicy! The psychological stress of that alone is worth a star deduction. * Delivery: Came fast in a super-cool bright orange bag. 10/10 on bag design. Most stylish part of the meal. * Egg rolls: They were fine. They existed. That's the nicest thing I can say. * The Bowl Situation: It's a large bowl. A promising bowl. Then you open it and... it's like 75-80% plain white rice with a little island of chicken in the corner going, "Help, there's too much rice!!" When I paid $45 on DoorDash for two bowls (and enough rice to cater a wedding), I expected more star of the show and less background actor. Final Verdict: The flavor is a superstar.
