A family member's truck was impounded a few weeks ago. At first, when we called, we were told that there is nothing that we could do to recover the truck... after research we were able to create a release form from the police and went to pick up the truck. When we got there, we were told that we need a dmv release as well. The entire time we were given different additional information of what was expected from us in order to take out the truck, resulting in making multiple visits until we have what we needed. WHY can't you just tell us EVERYTHING that is required BEFORE we make 5+ trips? read more

If you're going to bring your car here just make sure you bring it with no gas in the tank. They did work on 2 of our cars which we got back with mysteriously less gas in our tanks. I also got my car back with a dead battery (which was completely fine when we took it in). And now we have to get a new battery. Be careful taking your vehicles here. read more

The repair job on my FJ a while back was great! My missing Smith aviators with special edition green tinted lenses, not so great. I guess I view it as the repair cost me $200 more than quoted, which is fine because the work was of great quality. I would return if desperate but would not leave ANYTHING of value in my car next time. Edit: Response to Ron from Dixie Auto: Ron, I brought my car in during the summer of 2014, you guys were recommended by Allstate as a certified repair center. The glasses in question are some Smith Aviators that are very rare. I got them from an employee of Smith and they had greenish tinted lenses in them. I had the all black FJ cruiser special edition that was lifted. You guys did work on my driver side door and did a great job. I would rate you guys 5 stars for the quality of work and the friendliness of the receptionist and that German Shepherd, if it weren't for the glasses. I still have the case to the glasses sitting in my center console, the glasses would always sit on top. I almost turned around on my way home from the repair but thought that if someone needed them that bad, I can find myself another pair. Our F250 was stollen and found, but needed allot of things fixed and replaced on it. We took it to Dixie Auto Body & Towing and they wrote up a quote and sent it in to State Farm. State Farm approved the repairs and we called to get it scheduled and the gal put my husband on hold, came back and lied saying that State Farm cancelled the assessment number and if we took our truck there that it would sit so long that State Farm wouldn't like it, so we should take our truck somewhere else. What? Yes really! Then my husband called State Farm and said nothing has been cancelled and was surprised too. So we suggested that State Farm Insurance takes Dixie Auto Body off the approved list for repairs. Allot of businesses are hurting or having to shut their doors due to the Coronavirus, but these yahoos are telling you to go elsewhere. Fine, we will! But save yourself, and don't bother going to Dixie Auto Body as it's a waste of your time, and your insurance companies time, and it will put you back to square one. FYI, we needed $3,281.72 worth of work and maybe more if they had actually started the work. Stay clear of them!! read more

Moving to St. George from a large city gave me many concerns. The LEAST of my concerns was thinking about some place to get my car fixed. Then it happened. I was involved in a terrible accident and needed to have my car repaired. Not knowing where to bring my car, i looked on line and saw Dixie Auto Body. I gave them a call and spoke with Ron Jr. , the owner. He immediately made me feel like my car would be in great hands. I took my car to Dixie Auto Body to get repaired. After a couple weeks I was told that it was ready to be picked up. I was so happy that I could drive my car again. I picked it up the following day and it was beautiful. Ron and his guys took good care of my car and it drives super! His attention to details was what initially sold me on bringing my auto to his shop, and it looks like he did just as he said he was going to.! Thanks Ron and Dixie Auto Body!
