What's up with that? Did I just step back in the 1950s? Not likely since the building look like it was converted from an old gas station. The steak came with two sides.. today that was mashed potato and green beans... perfect, with white gravy. We were on the road towing a trailer, and it was easy to call ahead to order... everything was ready and packed to go when we arrived. And, it was an easy lot to pull through and park in for our rig. Don't let the now-faded sign fool you! They are fully operational.

We called ahead to ask about their hours, and they said they would stay open for us. The food is great, country cooking, classic West Texas. My dad is really particular about his food, and the owner made him a hamburger steak he couldn't believe (see photo-he was glad he was wearing pants with an elastic waistband. 18 oz of beef between the two patties, sautéed onions, and brown gravy, plus a salad Texas toast).
