The ER is very clean. It's about a year old. It's your typical hours long wait time after you get triaged to get a room. Everyone we've encountered has been really friendly and good with my daughter. They' all have offered us a snack or drink. X-rays went well and the exam room was decorated cute and clean. Underwater themed. The technician was friendly and gentle with my daughter. The only thing I didn't appreciate is the Covid tested my daughter without asking and that has never happened to us before usually it's asked first. Plenty of parking.

We were brought back and about 10 mins into the appointment she was pulled out, which no worries, we can be patient but they told us "thanks for being patient or else it probably would have meant you needed to wait longer anyways" she was out for about 10 mins during our appointment yet we had to wait for her, pay a specialist fee with our insurance and they made it seem like we were an inconvenience . This was a specialist appointment that we were spending a significant amount of money on. She listed and reviewed labs but seemed like she was not taking us seriously and was highly distracted. She didn't take my daughter seriously despite a significant family history and lab proof and pushed us off to a different specialty. We were referred to endocrinology with Dr. Alexander Karmazin. We went in hopeful and quickly realized it was futile. He came in- told us one lab result doesn't justify a diagnosis. (Clearly he didn't review the years of labs and medical documentation on file) I pointed this out and he took a step back and let me explain my child's current issues. He asked me about my history. Here's recognized the labs supported significant issues but said it wasn't his department so he could only provide a referral. Here's the kicker- IM CAPITALIZING BECAUSE I NEED OTHER WOMEN TO SEE THIS. HE ASKED ME ANOUT MY PERSONAL HISTORY WHICH I DETAILED, AS IT WAS RELEVANT AND HE PROCEEDED TO TELL ME "WELL YOU DONT LOOK LIKE YOU HAVE (specific diagnosis)". Completely shocked I listed my history with extensive diagnostic history and he doubled down telling me I was wrong and don't look like I have that specific diagnosis and it's probably not active anymore. As someone who has dealt with a chronic illness, I was completely shocked and my diagnosis was not relevant and not in the scope of his specialization. After calling patient support, it turns out they are contracted through U of U and their team handles issues. The rep and I played phone tag for a few calls and after I called back a few times I never heard back to lodge a complaint or get this addressed. If you have kiddos referred here, maybe ask for another clinic. I'm so disappointed with the care we have received, my daughter has not been believed, my health was judged BY A PEDIATRIC SPECIALIST and no follow up to rectify the issue. I wish I could remember the doctor's name, but he was very informative and pleasant as was his receptionist and technician. Soft wave is a miracle treatment that, of course, insurance companies do not cover because, of course, the AMA doesn't give it a billing code. This defies logic and common sense, of course, because the insurance companies would rather cover much more expensive treatments and procedures instead of this highly cost effective and just plain effective treatment. If you've seen any ads for soft wave treatment with patients suffering from joint pain or stiffness or other ailments, they are true. Let me tell you about my story. I had tweaked an injury to my right shoulder almost a year and a half ago. This limited my mobility and kept me from doing active things like throwing a ball. Even simple things like putting on a necktie or washing my back. There were definite movements that I could not do without pain or limited mobility, like reaching up high. This doctor gave me at least 15 minutes of soft wave therapy (it felt like longer) and it's crazy!--it works immediately. I could reach higher and every mobility issue improved. This clinic was different in that the gel applied was warmed up and so was the towel to wipe it off after the treatment. Cold gel and towel is no biggie, but this was a nice touch. Doing soft wave instead of surgery? No brainer. I wish this had been available years ago so that I didn't have to go through partially successful surgery that took many sessions of PT for only partial recovery. The technology behind it is that it increases blood flow, can increase bone density, and as far as I can understand, sort of "tricks" cells into a self-healing mode. You can research this yourself, though, it's not the purpose of this review. And of course, it has been in use in Europe for years before the US approved of it. Invented by German doctors to shatter kidney stones. After the soft wave therapy, he gave me an additional treatment with a laser treatment that also works in deep tissue. There were other rooms with other equipment for different kinds of treatment. His prices are comparable to everyone else's. I would definitely recommend that you try him out. 5* = A top favorite. Mind-blowing good. I will definitely return and I will go out of my way to go here. Worth every dime of my money. 4* = Outstanding. Top-tier. Some elements not quite as good as it gets, but it still is worthy of my regular business. 3* = Good experience. I might do repeat business if it is convenient, the only option, the only one in its category, or on a whim, but would not be among the first thing to come to mind. Would definitely recommend you trying it to get your own take on it. 2* = Not so good. Would not recommend at all. Waste of money. 1* = How are they still in business? Stay away at all costs!

They gave me a coupon for 20% off for cafe Tumbleweeds... daily specials Monday to Friday. Today is roasted turkey breast, masked taters and dressing, yes gravy too... all for $8!!! And I get 20% off?!?! The turkey was so moist... I forgot there's also string beans. This was a very good lunch, affordable and plenty... so full right now. I finished my cafe experience with a 16 ounce cappuccino from the espresso bar... they make smoothies too. There's also a machine that makes vegan blends. No sugar, vegan, healthy... She truly listens to you and recommends things to do for your pregnancy symptoms. She works closely with Dr. Harker at the Madsen location. They also have you register for the MyChart app that comes in so handy for communication with the NP, Obstetrician, front staff, etc. the app helps get schedules, lab results, documents for work, and more. I was amazed by this since most places do it old school and they either call you or you have to go in. Truly an amazing place if you are pregnant and want to establish care through your pregnancy! Unfortunately I am moving to a different state and have to establish new care.
