One time it's a bunch of military issue tool sets, the next time it's a bunch of military field phones, but I always find something fun. If you don't see what you are looking for ask them. They seem to have a cavernous back room and other warehouses with all kinds of goodies stashed away.

The guy at the counter didn't look up from his phone until I was ready to ask for some prices on some items. It is a small store. Mostly uniforms and field gear. It could be organized better for the small space. Most of the uniforms have prices, but there are bins of items with no prices and he comes up with it on the fly. Some vintage items like WWII helmet nets. Vietnam jungle fatigues, and miscellaneous canvas field gear. But finding it requires you to search for them. I was interested in an m1 helmet liner that was out on the floor. And when asked about it, the guy said "the liner is not for sale, I'm going to make helmet sets." Which is fine. But do not have an item that you are not willing to sell out next to items that ARE for sale. Overall not too impressed, not very helpful, and there's better quality military surplus stores out there. Perhaps Old Grouch is a fitting name for this establishment.

I work armed security in a hospital and need a nameplate for my uniform ASAP. Went to Green's and…read moreasked when they could have a nameplate made for me. They said it would take a couple of days. Based on what I was told, I paid and ordered it. Three days later it wasn't ready. I called and was told it would be ready in two additional days. It has now been one week, the nameplate is still not ready and they have no idea when it will be. Without a nameplate I am required to wear the hospital badge on my uniform. Wearing the hospital badge is high risk because it can be ripped off and used to leave the facility. I have stressed the urgency of needing the nameplate and was told a time that it would be ready prior to purchasing it. I am leaving this one star review because I find Green's Military to not be reliable and feel that they lack integrity to give honest information about their processing times, and to me, that is dishonest and unprofessional business practices.
