First of all, I will say that I AM a senior citizen, I had Dixie Safe & Lock to come out & change code on my safe. They are over an hour drive from me, The technician (Tin Nguyen) was GREAT - He explained everything about new code, had me to open & close safe a couple times. I Thought I had it, but NOT! I guess I should also say I have a little memory problem. A few days later I decided to put things in the safe -- & I couldn't do it! I thought I had really goofed everything up. I kind of Panicked! I was looking for a locksmith for repairs/upgrades and I called around. Their are many reputable competitors, but Dixie had everything I wanted in-stock and their price for my work order was lower by quite a bit than competitors. Please don't ever use this company. We called to have someone come out to our business and was told to email them pictures of the door we wanted the work on. I emailed Osiris the photos like he asked me to and he sent me a quick quote. I was thinking "Heck yea!" Then the problems came. The tech showed up and never told us what exactly was going to happen, I was told the lock would match the color of the door and it didn't. He scratched our aluminum door and it sticks out like a sore thumb. He removed our ADA handle without telling us and would only put it back on if we paid him an additional fee. I called the office and spoke with Joe (who quoted the job for Osiris according to himself) and had a 10 minute conversation where he blamed me for not giving the entire story to he sales rep (which is a complete lie because I told Osiris that the reason why we needed the lock was because the wind opens the door by itself) then Joe tells me that he'll call his tech and have him install it for free. Then the tech comes in and tells me Jason said it's $50 to reinstall something we never told them to take down. So I call and ask for Jason, that conversation last all about 2 minutes before he hung up on me and said he was going to call the police for theft by not paying, which I never said or threaten. Then here comes the final bill, it's $25 higher then what I was quoted. Tech try's to spin it and give me some BS story about it's just a quote and that wasn't a solid price. Bait and switch at its finest. Be very cautious and shop around before using this company. I know I won't ever use them and will never refer them to anybody. read more

Amazing! Tin came out to our office because we were having problems with our door strike (kept going off when no one was at the door) he came out quickly and was honest and effecient and told us straight forward the best way to fix our problem. He was able to save us money and from now on, if we have any issues, I'll definitely be calling them to come back out. You will be pleased with their service. read more

the people here are slightly rude but I don't think they're aware that they come off that way. otherwise these guys took care of me in a timely manner. also, even though they didn't have the key I needed the day I went, they ordered one for me and had it ready the next day. I'd recommend this place to whoever asked me about getting a key copied or got locked out of their house or car. read more
